The AWS Shield Anti-DDoS team is looking for a Software Development Manager to help us build new services and improve our existing services for internal and external customers. You will work closely with other teams including Threat Research, Security, Operations, Networking, and Product to identify opportunities to launch new features and continually improve our defenses against DDoS attacks or overloading events. In this role, you will lead part of the AWS Shield team which is responsible for our telemetry services. These are highly critical systems that underpin traffic routing and DDoS detection platforms, enable self-service DDoS testing, provide network-layer and application-layer insights to operators, and are used widely across AWS to triage ongoing events. You will develop, evolve, and optimize these systems, to help protect customers and services from DDoS attacks as well as other overloading events.
