Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil and Gas clients to seek a Senior Instrumentation Engineer to work on a 10 month's contract in Watford North Dakota. MAIN FUNCTIONS: The Facilities Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer will report to the Base Engineering Supervisor. The Facilities I&E Engineer will support the development and consistent implementation of engineering and construction standards in the design/execution of “Base” process facility projects (e.g., Facility Debottlenecking, Artificial Lift Conversions, GHG Reduction Technology, Operation/Maintenance Upgrades). The Facilities I&E Engineer will collaborate with representatives of other departments and disciplines to help execute projects from initial concept through commissioning/start-up. The Robotic Systems Engineer will provide robotic programming and other professional, technical expertise necessary to support our customer on site, assistance/start up, and customer training associated with the company's products on time and on budget as well as ensure meeting traditional customer service expectations of customers of industrial products. Work with the customer's engineers daily to make improvements on existing robotic cells. Be able to perform a PM (Preventative Maintenance) on a wide array of robot models and controllers. Keep the Service Manger informed daily of customer complaints or dissatisfaction. The Project Engineer assists Project Managers in managing construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities. PKG Project Engineers work directly with Superintendents and other field personnel to support construction activities. Title: Project Engineer / Project Manager (Engineering) Employment Type: Fulltime Employment Note: This is a fully onsite role, and relocation assistance will be provided. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Project Manager to lead capital improvement initiatives at our recently acquired Biofuels & Distilled Spirits facility in Wahpeton, ND. This role will report directly to the Plant Manager and will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all capital projects to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability. Oversee a multi-million-dollar capital expenditure budget, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Manage upgrades to electro-mechanical systems, including control systems, electrical infrastructure, switch gears, blowers, tank & piping systems, and facility improvements. Coordinate with third-party contractors and engineering firms to drive project execution. Develop and implement a strategic, multi-year facility improvement plan aligned with corporate sustainability goals. Assess and justify future capital investments based on cost-benefit analysis and operational needs. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience managing capital improvement and construction projects within manufacturing (experience in food/food ingredient manufacturing is preferred). Strong understanding of thermodynamics (heating and cooling equipment) and mechanical design (CAD experience is a plus). Proven ability to manage project timelines, budgeting, contractor negotiations, and vendor relations. Knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices. Why Join Us?
