The Position:
The Mechanical Design Engineer will first learn about iTS's extensive product lines and become familiar with our improved designs for the various Ion Implant tools that iTS supports. The Candidate will work alongside Senior Managers to create, design and test new products for our customers that maximize Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time Between Maintenance (MTBM). Additionally, the Senior Mechanical Engineer will work directly with iTS's engineering and sales team to conceptualize customer requirements and needs that meet and or ideally exceed their expectations.
Responsibilities
Support Senior Management in the development of new products and the expansion of iTS product lines
Understand the different Ion Implant systems that iTS supports and facilitate new design and development of products and solutions
Create BOMs for new design assemblies
Design experiments to test prototypes
Prepare technical designs, drawings and models of new components and assemblies.
