We are looking for Project Engineers for our joint venture Dry Dock project located at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam located on Oahu, Hawaii.
Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company is looking for a Project Engineer with marine or waterfront construction experience for the Pearl Harbor Dry Dock Replacement project. The Project Engineer administers the prime contract for the project, administers all subcontractors for the project, performs materials controls and is responsible for other duties as assigned.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop Work Plans, Work Schedules (three week look- ahead), Suretrack/Primavera P6 knowledge.
Prepare/Maintain Submittal, Material Status logs,
Prepare Submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), Billings.
Review shop drawings, submittal from Subs. for compliance with plans and specifications.
Perform contract administration. Prepare owner notifications and correspondence.
Conduct weekly meetings. with Subs. Prepare mtg. minutes and agenda.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 7 years of experience in construction of piers, wharves, bulkheads including piledriving, sheet piledriving, form-work, steel reinforcement placement and concrete placement for marine structures.
Knowledge of dredging, rock revetment/dyke construction as well as utility (water, sewer, electrical) installation for waterfront/marine structures.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Communication: Write, speak and communicate fluently in English.
Technical Skills: Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Suretrack/Primavera P6.
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from a four-year college or university.

Summary
