Quality Management: Review, inspect, and test project systems, materials, documents, techniques, and workmanship to ensure conformance to the plans, specifications, and applicable standards. Includes the Quality Control Plan, review of shop drawings and submittals, field inspections, material acceptance, and punch list completion.
Safety Management: Implement and monitor procedures to protect the health and safety of jobsite employees, visitors, and the general public. Includes the jobsite safety plan, safety inspections, subcontractor insurance compliance, OSHA compliance, and maintaining current OSHA training.
Client Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients based on trust and value through communication, client service, and performance. May participate in preparing or contributing to the development of proposals and proposal materials.
Requirements

Requires knowledge and understanding of electrical, mechanical, structural, civil, landscaping, and architectural plans as they relate to schedules, cost, performance, and aesthetics.

Automation Controls Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated Controls/Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, programming, and implementing control and automation systems for our advanced equipment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automated solutions that enhance the performance and reliability of our products.
Duties/Responsibilities:
-Programming and Development: Write, test, and maintain PLC's and HMIs for automated equipment, ensuring efficient operation and adherence to project specifications.
-Control System Design: Develop control system architectures, including hardware and software components, to optimize equipment performance.
-Automation Integration: Integrate automation solutions with existing and new equipment, collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.
-Testing and Debugging: Conduct rigorous testing, debugging, and validation of control and automation systems to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards.
-Innovation and Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities to improve system efficiency and functionality through the adoption of the latest technologies and best practice in automation.
-Automation Project Management; Lead automation projects from concept through implementation, including timeline management, resources coordination, and stakeholder communication.
-Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation, including code annotations, system schematics, operational manuals, PM's and training guides.
-Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting and technical support for deployed and current systems, including training production and maintenance teams on proper operations and maintenance.
Required Skills/Abilities:
-Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
-Experience: 3+ years of experience in programing, controls, and automation engineering, preferably in equipment design or a related field.
-Technical Skills;
*Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi) and HMI/SCADA development.
*Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and control systems.
*Experience with robotics, motion control, and industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, Canbus).
*Familiarity with scripting and programming languages (Python, C/C++, Java) for custom automation solutions.
*Ability to read and create electrical schematics using CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical).
*Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to details.
*Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
*Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paces environment.
*Strong troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment.
-Certifications: Relevant certification in automation and control (e.g., Certified Automation Professional, Siemens S7 Programming) are a plus.
Competitive salary and Frequency/Project Driven Goals-
The KPI incentive program has been developed to provide financial incentive to department teams when they achieve prescribes productivity levels while maintaining safe and high-quality foods. KPI is paid out weekly and can be up to $2.00 in addition to normal base rate of pay. Weekly goal.
