About the Role: The Aerospace & Defense (A&D) Business group is seeking a highly self-motivated Application Engineer who enjoys working directly with customers to solve their toughest microwave cabling challenges. In this role, you will provide application support for both microwave cable and cable assembly solutions to enable sales growth at existing and new customers. You will partner with the sales team and product managers to demonstrate the technical benefits and value of Gore products to our customers. The ideal candidate for this role would be energized by the A&D industry and be passionate about customer applications and customer experience.

Pay and Benefits:
$95,000 - $144,000 per year

Responsibilities:
Ensure the elements of fitness-for-use (FFU) are validated along the global value chain for existing products manufactured and developed in USA and United Kingdom
Represent the application requirements in manufacturing qualification, validation, and change control activities while influencing and integrating with a cross functional team
Manage customer expectations based on product performance and internal capabilities while effectively working with customers to align on true application needs
Identify new opportunities and driving derivative product commercialization within existing product concepts in alignment with product specialist and technical team
Provide FFU input and customer feedback to the new product development (NPD) process
Understand and develop application requirements based on customer and end user needs while recognizing industry trends vs custom designs
Verify and validate product design/construction based on the integration and use of the product
Support the complexities of the sales process and collaborate with the global market facing team to continually improve the value that our products and services deliver to customers in the application
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science (Electrical Engineering preferred)
Minimum 3 years experience in a technical or applications engineer role
Familiarity with elements of RF/Microwave technology and microwave cable assembly specifications
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate with internal and external customers
Proven results focus, taking initiative, driving change, getting things done
Self-directed and self-motivated to work at a demanding environment
Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of prioritizing and problem solving as well as demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities

Position Summary
AirJoule is seeking a Principal Applications Engineer to join the application engineering team, which focuses on optimization of device performance and understanding its performance landscape. AirJoule technology dehumidifies air with record-breaking energy efficiency, and then converts it into pure water. Education and Experience Requirements

This R&D Hardware Engineer (Electrical Engineer) position is at our Wilmington, Delaware site. As an Electrical Engineer in our R&D group, you'll be part of a team that analyzes, designs, prototypes and tests new products for Agilent's Gas Chromatograph, Automated Sample Handling and Automated Sample Preparation products. SUMMARY
Design and develop manufacturing tooling, methods and related processes, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility / machine-time utilization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve manufacturing processes or products or to reduce costs, using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials and parts.
Review product designs for manufacturability or completeness; prepare documentation for new manufacturing and assembly processes or procedures; incorporate new manufacturing methods or processes to improve existing operations.
Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
Draft and design new tooling and layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency using drafting tools and computer and maintaining revision control of all associated documentation.
Estimate production costs, cost saving methods, and the effects of product design changes on expenditures for management review, action, and control.
