Position Summary: The Project Engineer will support the R&D Product Engineering function, focusing on both the development of new oral care products and the maintenance, improvement, and updates of existing product lines. This position plays a key role in the product lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Support the development and launch of new oral care products from concept through commercialization, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations. Assist in ongoing maintenance and improvements to existing products, identifying opportunities for enhancements and cost savings. Collaborate with R&D, design, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues and drive product innovation. Develop and execute Engineering-related project plans, ensuring that all deliverables are met within defined timelines. Coordinate and monitor design changes, product testing, and documentation, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry standards. Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide technical input on product design, manufacturing processes, and timelines. Assist in the preparation of technical reports, design specifications, and user documentation. Ensure all projects comply with regulatory standards, quality control processes, and customer requirements. Troubleshoot technical problems and provide solutions to support the continuous improvement of existing products. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in product development, preferably within the consumer goods or oral care industry. Solid understanding of product design and development processes, including prototype development, testing, and iteration. Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including injection molding, assembly, and packaging. Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or similar) and design documentation. Knowledge of regulatory standards and quality control in product development. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the oral care or consumer products industry. Experience working with cross-functional teams to bring products to market. Familiarity with FDA and other regulatory requirements for consumer products. However, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus as part of total compensation.
