Execute capital projects including: 2. Generate ideas based on business needs and opportunities 3. Estimate project costs 4. Justify project by benefits to achieve approval of funds 5. Complete engineering designs and planning 6. Specify and purchase equipment. Design and build specialized equipment if required. 7. Manage resources to complete project installation and startup 8. Provide training as needed to maintenance & operations 9. Identify and lead Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) to: 10. Improve safety 11. Reduce cost by improving productivity and reducing waste 12. Improve product qualityandresolve reoccurring quality complaints 13. Improve equipment reliability 14. Assume a leadership role providing technical expertise to handle the most challenging problems 15. Assist production and maintenance in solving difficult technical problems 16. Support Quality in the root cause analysis of complaints 17. Support manufacturing improvements through project management and engineering expertise 18. Generate ideas and solutions to specific problems and plant improvement opportunities 19. Investigate new processes, equipment, and methods to provide competitive advantages 20. Continually develop and improve process knowledge and continuous improvement skills **Qualifications** 1. Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Discipline (Mechanical required) 2. 10+ years Engineering with significant project engineering experience 3. Strong leadership, people, and communications skills 4. Strong technical problem solving skills 5. Strong AutoCAD skills 6. Experience and understanding of process systems, metrics, Continuous Improvement Projects and SPC 7.
