The Water Production Operator I is the entry-level classification within the Water Production series. Monitors, operates, and maintains automatic chlorinators and performs water quality sampling to ensure safe, clean, and potable water for customers.

Assist in the operation and maintenance of construction equipment and/or machinery including pumping equipment, well and boosters.

Assist in maintaining the upkeep to well sites, booster stations, pressure reducing valve (PRV) stations on a regular basis.

The position also requires both near and far vision when inspecting work and operating assigned equipment. The need to lift, carry and push tools, equipment and supplies weighing 50 pounds or more is also required. Additionally, the incumbent in this outdoor position works in all weather conditions including wet, hot, and cold. The incumbent may use hazardous materials including cleaning and lubricating chemicals, which may expose the employee to fumes, dust and air contaminants. Warehouse job responsibilities include: Gather carts and properly place items in the warehouse.
Ensure loads are complete per documentation and that they are on the correct delivery vehicle in the proper order.
Secure loads in a proper fashion to minimize damage and breakage.
Work in a team environment.
Ensure the Warehouse is stocked according to route and track down products that is missing.
Adhere to safety procedures as outlined in the Illness & Injury Prevention Program and the Employee Handbook.

Qualifications: Previous experience in warehouse environment, particularly window manufacturing preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Thrift Store Manager, the Thrift Store Floor Production Worker (Part-Time) is responsible for assisting the production crew in cleaning, prep, and tagging merchandise such as bric-a-brac, books, electronics, shoes, accessories, household items, etc.

THRIFT STORE FLOOR PRODUCTION WORKER (PART-TIME) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Cleans, tags, and packs merchandise for pricing.
Determines which items are perishable and which are recyclable and discards unsellable items.
Assists other departments/positions, as needed.
Sets the pace for sorting.
Records production numbers daily. (i.e., carts, units, etc.)
Communicates regularly with management about store issues.
Actively engages customers on floor sales to increase donations and merchandise sales.
Ensures monthly revenue goals are met.

Thrift store, warehouse, assembly line or restaurant experience, a plus.

Fluency in Spanish, both verbal and written, a plus.
Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic.
