**Responsibilities**
1. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
2. Inspect product to insure quality. Set aside product that is below quality standards. Work closely with Leads and alert Mold Tech and Supervisor of any quality issues or reject conditions. Watch molds for irregularities or sticking. Timely response to quality issues is key to this position
3. Complete assembly of product by installing gaskets in lids and handles in containers as required while keeping up with the production machines cycles
4. Stack and pack product per instructions that vary with different customers and orders
5. Prepare proper product identification and/or packaging labels
6. Assist with material handling and other tasks as needed
7. When the machine experiences an interruption in production, the packer/handler will take this
available time to clean up oil, sweep, mop, make boxes or other tasks that may be assigned by the
team leader or supervisor
8. Accurately complete any required paperwork
9. Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP) including proper waste disposal, attire, grooming and hygiene, etc Keep working area clean at all times and in compliance with 5S requirements. Obtain work schedule from supervisor, obtain PPE required to perform the work and prepare for operations. Perform daily safety check of the assigned Forklift / Power Jack in accordance with company policy. Check the shipping schedule for the product being shipped and check to ensure the proper supplies are available. Locate and transport finished goods from production lines, cooler / freezer warehouse storage to shipping staging area with a Forklift. Inspect empty trailers at the loading dock to insure they are clean and clear before loading and take appropriate action as needed. Transport items to be shipped into the trailer with Forklift and using the "Loading plan" and secure the load when trailer is complete. Remove empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping to the proper area or receptacles. Re-stack, stretch wrap and secure pallets of finished goods as needed. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as complying with all OSHA rules and regulations. (THINK SAFETY FIRST.) Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP) including proper waste disposal, attire, grooming and hygiene, etc Keep working area clean at all times and in compliance with 5S requirements. Obtain work schedule from supervisor, obtain PPE required to perform the work and prepare for operations. Perform daily safety check of the assigned Forklift / Power Jack in accordance with company policy. Check the shipping schedule for the product being shipped and check to ensure the proper supplies are available. Locate and transport finished goods from production lines, cooler / freezer warehouse storage to shipping staging area with a Forklift. Inspect empty trailers at the loading dock to insure they are clean and clear before loading and take appropriate action as needed. Transport items to be shipped into the trailer with Forklift and using the “Loading plan” and secure the load when trailer is complete. Remove empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping to the proper area or receptacles. Re-stack, stretch wrap and secure pallets of finished goods as needed. Inspect and stack empty pallets, remove broken or damaged pallets and clean trailers as required. Perform general housekeeping duties in work area and on the power jack/ forklift and charge battery as needed. At end of shift, secure all equipment, perform general housekeeping duties and turn in all required paperwork. Other job duties assigned.
