Key Accountabilities

Develops and executes production plans to achieve departmental and plant goals for all SQDCME metrics
Completes daily production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishes work results and establishes priorities

Develops, directs, and manages production employees and train them to properly utilize all equipment and tools
Coaches and counsels employees while coordinating and enforcing process controls, company policies, programs and procedures
Promotes a clean, safe work environment throughout the facility
Initiates and fosters a spirit of cooperation within and between departments
Consistently updates and maintains Safe Work Instructions (SWIs) and completes required audits
Leads, promotes and supports continuous improvement activities, including the ECO System
Coordinates and supports training and onboarding for all new employees
Develops hourly coordinator and employee cross training plans and maintains skills matrices
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering or Technology
2 -- 3+ years supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to identify OSHA compliance issues and control of hazards
Ability to lead, motivate and develop direct reports insert team building
Experience implementing lean manufacturing, 5S and other continuous improvement concepts
Strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

JOB SUMMARY

POSITION DUTIES:

Assist with SQF documentation preparation, review and verification
Create and maintain product specification sheets and product labels in compliance with FDA/USDA regulations as well as customer needs
Document and inspect raw materials
Assures food safety standards with regards to GMP's and HAACP plan are followed at all times
Observe and follow up with employees to ensure duties/responsibilities are done accurately
Assist employees when needed with their duties to ensure quality standards are met
Inspect product through sensory evaluation for defects
Determine overall product quality by conducting and evaluating various product tests
Review current ingredient /material suppliers for quality, specifications, suitability and reliability

Manage finished product specification sheets and review quarterly

Review HACCP records to ensure that HACCP requirements are met and properly documented
EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE:

At least 3 years previous QA supervisor experience required in a food manufacturing setting

Responsibilities
Role(s) - Supports the Production Team through managing and training subordinates, overseeing production documentation and managing employee personnel
Assists with administrative, communication, safety and training needs and requirements.
Ensure production lines are staffed and operable.
Ensure T+D and adherence to work instructions and quality standards.
Ensure all Team Member's timekeeping information such as time sheets, vacation time, personal time and absenteeism is correctly entered into SAP.
Ensure that all quality, safety and personnel concerns are addressed and those responsible are held accountable.
Acquire FTTQ information hourly and push items back to the associated Team Leader for correction.
Ensure that offline rework is repaired and documented in an efficient and timely manner in order to deliver product to KMMG on time.
Verify Team Leaders have completed and submitted all daily reports and documentation requirements on P2 boards and validate the data entered.
Ensure that all Team Members are in compliance with PPE and dress code policies.
Develop team members through training, counseling and performance review so that they perform work tasks to standard.
Enforce and practice 5S in all assigned work areas. Keep the work stations, tools and gauges clean and organized.
Administer of fair, honest, and equal disciplinary action (counseling, coaching, incident documentation)
Other tasks as assigned.

Summary of Position:
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing all operations within the assigned shift. You will focus primarily on safely producing high quality products in line with established production standards.
Responsibilities
Ensure safety of crew during shifts; direct efforts of all Production and QA employees per shift; document and communicate performance feedback to employees - both positive and constructive
Provide ongoing training and development for employees on crew
Verify all raw materials, labeling, equipment set up, tools, production orders, warehouse availability and labor are ready for the current and upcoming runs
Monitor and follow environmental monitoring and reporting procedure within designated response times
Manage all issues that arise with Facility Emergency Contingency Plan
Work with crew and other departments to continuously improve processes, products and safety; reduce costs through innovation based on historical product data
Troubleshoot high-level issues with Key Operators, Maintenance personnel or Management
Communicate daily with crew regarding safety, current issues, corrective actions, future plans and past performance (KPI's) through the high performance team (HPT) boards and meetings
Review production schedule and make sure proper people are assigned to appropriate job tasks; address adjustments to schedule; communicate adjustments to others as needed; monitor operating performances of equipment - contact maintenance for needed repairs, adjustments or troubleshooting
Prepare all necessary paperwork and record keeping for shift; communicate with the off-going shift before starting a new shift and with the on-coming shift at the end of shift
Qualifications
Education:
Associate's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Technology
Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
Experience:
Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of production experience in an industrial manufacturing facility
Minimum three (3) years of supervisory/leadership experience in a similar environment

Primary Function:
Responsible for supervision of Manufacturing/Operations department; implementing and monitoring all safety and company policies. Assists Plant Manager assuming responsibility in his/her absence
Essential Functions:
* Responsible for Managing Production Supervisors
* Helps drive safety initiatives and promotes a safe work environment
* Ensures compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements within the department
* Implement operating procedures for the production department.
* Tracks and Manages uptime and production efficiencies for the department.
* Monitors machines for maintenance problems and ensures the problems are resolved.
* Address and resolve with Production Supervisors any problems that may develop.
* Has oversite for production scheduling to help ensure orders are completed on time.
* Must know blown film troubleshooting, extruder drives, heaters and controls.
* Maintain 24 hours/day, seven days a week on call availability.
* Reviews Certificates of Analysis of incoming resin to ensure they meet required specifications.
* Monitors resin and additive and packaging supplies.
* Involved in root cause and corrective actions for customer complaints related to product quality.
* Supervision of staff to include performance reviews, hiring, discipline and terminations.
* Optimize level of employee relations and safety program compliance.
* Perform as the alternate for Product Safety responsibilities during the Manager's absence.
* Monitor purchasing and maintain inventory control of packaging supplies, inks and poly wrap.
* Oversee scheduling of all lines on a daily basis.
* Act as alternate in the absence of the Plant Manager.

Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED), college degree preferred.
4-year college degree and/or combination of education and work experience in plastics manufacturing is required.
Experience:
Prior manager experience of 5-7 years in a manufacturing environment is required, preferably in PVC film.
