The Production Technician Associate will report directly to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks to assist with operations in production. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Operate a fork lift * Packaging 10 - 50 lb. bags of bulk product via saddle to pallet as well as filling 3000 lb. super sacks * Cleaning of the warehouse as required * Daily maintenance of equipment * Calls specialists when more serious problems occur * Tracks various data associated with production equipment * Reports any inconsistencies and uses standard repair procedures * Work in compliance with company safety and operating procedures * Other duties as assigned SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Previous forklift experience * Ability to lift up to 50lbs. * Previous experience in a production/manufacturing setting * Capable of working in a team and independently * Capable of following a production report while working independently

Summary/Objective The Team Member position is to ensure that quality parts are being finished and that any non-conforming parts are reported and removed for disposition. Record any non-conforming parts on the productive reports. Ensuring all conforming parts are correctly packed according to packaging standards. Ensure that all aspects of his or her area of responsibility is in full compliance with the quality system in place at the operation at all times. Ensure there are no quality or production interruptions due to lack of giving or seeking information by fully informing the Production Manager of all events affecting production and the shift. Maintain a productive working environment by good communication, cooperation, positive habits and attitudes. Record information on scrap sheets and/or downtime sheets regarding scrap parts, and information about machine, equipment and fixture problems. Follow company safety rules 100% of the time. We are currently seeking to hire a Slitter Machine Operator for our Sterling Heights location. As a slitter machine operator, you will use a slitter machine to cut materials into slats of a specified length and width. Duties & Responsibilities: Operating the machine: Loading, aligning, and cutting materials while ensuring the cuts meet specifications Maintaining the machine: Assisting with maintenance and auxiliary equipment Quality control: Performing quality checks, inspecting products, and documenting quality issues Safety: Keeping the work area safe and following safety standards Communication: Keeping coworkers informed of shift activities and documenting shift logs Housekeeping: Cleaning the work area and arranging stacking panels Labeling: Labeling, identifying, and packing materials Installation: Installing spacers, knives, and rubber sleeves Threading: Threading sheeting through the slitter Securing: Securing strips on recoiler Minimum Requirements: Read and understand job tickets with close attention to film specification requirements. Troubleshoot machine stoppage and breakdown. Perform quality monitoring checks during production runs and complete related documents-slitting checklist. Document materials used to ensure traceability of roll stock. Assist in wrapping roll stock film with protected layer and label correctly. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
