Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year's work experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent. Equivalent experience includes relevant hands-on work experience such as industrial, warehouse, construction, military, maintenance, heavy equipment operation, machining, and/or assembly.
Ability to (A) read and interpret blueprints, (B) use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, vernier, calipers, and (C) perform shop math calculations including fraction and decimal equivalents.
Willingness to wear personal protective equipment including safety glasses, gloves, hats, ear plugs and safety shoes.
Ability to utilize a computer and/or other technological equipment as required.
Must be available to work 4th shift 7am - 7:30pm (Fri, Sat, & Sun) or 5th shift 7pm - 7:30am (Fri, Sat, & Sun)
Must be able to train on a different shift then what is assigned.
Essential Responsibilities:
Every Manufacturing Associates is part of a work team and is required to actively participate in teams and committees.
Learn to operate all workstations, perform complex layout operations to verify part dimensions, and perform assembly and disassembly of parts as required.
Individuals will apply knowledge and skill to work within their teams and constantly strive to improve operation and cycle time. This includes the completion of Kaizen and Lean projects.
Operate tools and equipment ranging in size from small to large and in complexity from simple to very complicated.
Perform other related duties as necessary.
