    Job Details Hussey Seating - North Berwick, ME Bachelor's DegreeDescription Provide product life cycle support to the fixed seating product line, which includes outdoor stadium seating, indoor upholstered seating, and seating provided on telescopic platforms. Responsibility includes limited scope product enhancement and development. This role requires advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work cross-functionally as well as with external suppliers and customers. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Life cycle manage fixed and fold-down chair seating line products through maintenance, enhancement, and value engineering initiatives Responsible for Engineering Changes (ECs) related to the seating product line Responsible for the development and maintenance of design documentation, drawings, BOM's, test data, technical manuals, and all other related technical product documentation Lead and / or support product and labor cost reduction initiatives in support of annual corporate cost reduction goals Provide technical field support related to use, performance, quality and safety of chair products. Work closely with Quality and Customer Service to develop Cause and Corrective Action plans for product related quality issues Work with Procurement team and vendor base to resolve product and material sourcing issues Design and develop product line enhancements / new product line extensions from concept through production release Conduct analysis, testing, etc. to ensure designs meet performance requirements Work directly with Asian manufacturing partner Support broader team as a technical reviewer and participate in problem solving, planning, strategy, etc. events COMPETENCIES: (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Customer focused problem solver Superior ability to achieve anticipated results in a fast-paced environment.
