Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively secure new business and maintain existing client base.
Have a proven track record of business to business sales success. Possess strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills with the ability to close sales.

The Role Itself
In this role, you will engage directly with our primary customer, the independent Property and Casualty Retail Agent. The Executive Producer at WSOC TV will manage a team of TV and digital producers, writers, anchors, reporters, photographers, editors, and directors. The EP crafts the look of the shows, manages story count, flow and placement of every story. They set the coverage expectation and manage repetition. The EP manages breaking news and the speed and style in which we get it on the air. The person in this job must be a quick-moving innovator who can lead the team in a changing media environment. The EP assists in all aspects of leading and managing a team such as establishing schedules, goal setting, and employee relations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Newscast & Brand Management - 90%
* Lead digital effort to engage viewers as they wake up and look at their phones first
* Execute live-streaming strategy to encourage viewership on mobile and on other digital platforms
* Work closely with talent on social posts to encourage viewership of the newscast
* Innovate to match research as viewing behavior changes
* Craft newscast look by working with the Creative Services Department
* Manage story count and placement
* Must be intimate with the rundown
* Manage story count vs. big story coverage
* Copy edits stories in the newscast and ensures that they are on target with research objectives
* Set the coverage expectation by holding meetings with producers and conducting newscast critiques
* Manage repetition within newscasts and from newscast to newscast
* Ensure the product stays on brand
* Hold producers accountable on story selection and ensures anchors and meteorologists stay on target with delivery
* Manage breaking news
* Ensure that we are on the air quickly
* Monitor the execution in the control room
* Facilitate drills to ensure talent is up to speed.
* Hold writing seminars and trainings for new employees
Administrative - 10%
* Lead and manages a team of TV and digital producers, writers, anchors, reporters, photographers, editors, and directors
* Assist in establishing schedules, goal setting, and employee relations
Minimum Qualifications
* 5 or more years of newsroom experience required
* Must be a quick leading innovator who can lead a team in a changing media environment
* Must understand and be able to execute on evolving digital platforms
* Must be a good teacher and leader
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
* Must be well read on current affairs and have a wide range of working knowledge and understanding of general interest subjects
* Must be able to understand research and execute on the findings
* Ability to work well with others and deal with employee issues appropriately
Physical Demands:
* A combination of physical work (standing, walking, lifting and carrying items such as laptop computers, pulling file drawers)
* Document review and computer use, including ability to manipulate fingers to operate computer keyboard and mouse
* Expected to work under deadline constraints and meet precise deadlines (including self-imposed deadlines)

The Associate Producer is responsible for producing and editing various content for the company's NASCAR Studios productions. As a member of the Unscripted Content group, the Associate Producer generates short and long form features, contributes to the production and editing of long form documentary projects for broadcast partners and NASCAR owned-and-operated channels, and provides support to third-party production partners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Produce and edit content for productions assigned by NASCAR Studios and other creative outlets and platforms.
Collaborate with staff and freelance producers to develop, produce, edit, and deliver long form documentary content.
Organize and maintain production environments for projects that involve multiple producers and editors working with shared material.
Support third-party production partners in story research, gathering and organization of archival footage, distribution of NASCAR Studios resources, and promotional efforts. This may include accompanying these partners to race events as a location facilitator and NASCAR advisor.
Produce and edit high level, creative highlights of the NASCAR races.
Edit promotional content for the company's events, series, features, one-off specials and other various internally and externally produced content.
Organize and produce field shoots, working with camera crews, talent, interview subjects, etc. to gather material for various productions. At times as a support person to more senior producers/directors, at times as the point person for the shoot day.
Write voice over scripts and direct recording sessions with talent.
Develop or assist in the development of question sets for interviews.
Conceptualize, write, produce and supervise graphics, edit, and audio post-production sessions.
Infuse new production approaches and editing and styles into all videos that distinguish each project
Strong knowledge of various Video Cameras (ARRI, Sony, and mirrorless cameras), audio, and lighting for interviews, NAT sound, stylized shoots and concepts.
Research, write and pitch ideas for future content
Manage small projects independently with minimal supervision.
Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects) for assigned projects.
Travel: up to 20%, including weekends
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and minimum of four (4) years related experience, internship and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of company provided hardware and software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Non-Linear editing experience.
Basic knowledge of client server, web technologies and/or systems integrations is a plus
Valid driver's license preferred.
Strong organization, communication, and time management skills
