JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Loan Processor to join the team. The loan processor is responsible for ordering, gathering, reviewing, and preparing borrower and property documents for residential and commercial loans. This includes ensuring all loan conditions are fulfilled and meets company guidelines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and a strong background in private money lending. The loan processor will work closely with loan underwriting and servicing teams. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Review loan application for accuracy, compliance, and completeness ensuring that all loans are prepared and processed to comply with regulatory lending guidelines and company policies. Utilize loan origination software to organize and process files. Order appraisals, title commitments, and compliance reports. Effectively communicate and collaborate with borrower(s), escrow, realtors, vendors, and staff providing status updates and outstanding items to facilitate an organized, accurate, and timely closing. Review, collect, and fulfill underwriting conditions. Examine supporting documentation and investigate any inconsistencies to identify potential fraud or misrepresentation. Ensure disclosures are prepared and delivered to the appropriate party. Prepare and deliver documents in an accurate and timely manner adhering to regulatory requirements. Generate loan documents (including but not limited to purchase, refinance, loan modifications, etc.). Coordinate loan closing, recording, and funding with escrow. Review signed closing documents to ensure accuracy, proper execution, and completeness. Work with the servicing team to prepare and disburse the loan. Prepare annual Mortgage Call Reports and NMLS Reports Perform post-closing responsibilities including preparing and submitting DRE reports and investor disclosures. QUALIFICATIONS: Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Loan Processor Knowledge of real estate loan processes, documentation and closing procedures preferably in the private money lending sector. Knowledge of private money lending and hard money loans Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills Good multitasking abilities with outstanding time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Familiarity with Loan Origination Software such as Calyx Point and/or Encompass, ideally “The Mortgage Office” Positive, can-do, professional attitude WE VALUE OUR TEAM MEMBERS!
