Job Purpose:

Key Accountabilities:
Supplier Management
Direct the Honda selected software integration partner suppliers to design and manage the software to maturation.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
A minimum of three years of related experience is desired.

Job Purpose:
As an Infotainment UX Engineer you will conduct and utilize existing research to define and develop Infotainment solutions, features, and designs that satisfy customer needs and maintain competitiveness with the utmost quality of all infotainment development content with a focus on C.A.S.E. (Connected Autonomous Shared Electrification). At the Senior Engineer Level, you are an expert in your area and are expected to handle multiple projects simultaneously, while overseeing and developing other engineers.
Key Accountabilities:
Use expert level knowledge of customer/market expectations and your function area to identify and initiate modifications to or new infotainment solutions within assigned area of responsibility.
Analyze user research data to understand customers; needs and desires for infotainment systems (displays, information, interface, entertainment, features, controls, etc.).
Propose and lead market research and user studies to ensure the competitiveness of responsible areas. Ensure the scope and quality of research is sufficient to draw conclusions that will guide vehicle user experience future directions, improvements, and Human-Machine Interface/user specifications.
Lead the creation of new feature and user interface specifications.
Verify the correct implementation of specifications within assigned area of responsibility on test setups and vehicles.
Mentor newer associates in best practices. Lead other engineers on projects by communicating the vision and outcomes needed along with guidance to achieve them.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelors degree in Human Factors, Industrial Design, UX design; Engineering, Psychology, or Product Development
5+ years relevant experience
Experience conducting user-centered research in educational and/or professional environment
Product Benchmarking
Experience with GUI prototyping preferred (Figma, ProtoPie, Axure, Kanzi, etc.)
Excellent communication skills and ability to produce presentation documents
