Position Overview
As a part of our dedicated team, CDL Drivers will be operating a SiteOne vehicle to deliver world-class service and landscape, nursery, forestry, and irrigation products to our customers. The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $61,900 to $92,900 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. * Utilizes job knowledge, judgment and problem-solving skills to ensure quality of work. Is familiar with the day-to-day organization of the department.
* Accurately enters all required information presented on client specific requisitions into the laboratory information management system.
* Understands and recognizes Laboratory Information Management System alerts and flags and takes the appropriate actions.
* Recognizes when information presented on requisitions is unclear and knows how to properly escalate the situation. Looks for follow up to ensure timely resolution.
* Process and prepare test items needing to be sent to other facilities
* Ensures all samples received are accounted for and entered in Laboratory Information Management System.
* Demonstrates efficiency by performing procedures rapidly and with accuracy. Manages time appropriately and utilizes unstructured time constructively. Strives to meet departmental goals for daily completion time as well as error rate.
* Escalates issues to department manager immediately.
* Report any errors or delays to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
* May also be responsible for various support activities, including but not limited to data entry, answering phones, shipping and receiving, equipment assembly inventory and other related duties.
* Perform routine laboratory operations on samples according to the Standard Operating Procedures.
* Adhere to lab safety procedures and reporting standards.
* Other duties may be assigned to assist with the operations of the lab.
What you'll have:
* BS/Advanced Degree, preferably in Chemistry or another related field.
* Proven knowledge of laboratory operations.

* Critical thinking, including analytical skills as it relates to process.

* Good understanding of MS Office Suite
