Looking for fun and friendly people! Gain hands-on, practical experience in the food service, tourism and hospitality industry through a summer job with Idaho's largest whitewater rafting outfitter. Learn food handling and preparation, and interface with a diverse group of customers and coworkers.
Duties of the position include food preparation and service, operating the point-of-sale system, cash handling, and customer service. All training for these functions will be provided. Applicants should be interested in cooking and working with food, organized and attentive to details.
In addition to building work experience in food service, this position offers a fun and fast-paced environment as part of a cohesive and encouraging team of coworkers. A staff campground and meal plan are provided, as are opportunities for personal rafting and kayaking. The Cascade Raft & Kayak work experience offers opportunities for leadership, teamwork, confidence, fulfillment and fun found in few other workplaces.
