What You'll Do:
Roosters Prep Cooks are responsible for the timely preparation of all raw foods and fresh products for the line cooks. Duties include, but are not limited to, washing and cleaning raw food products. Peel, dice, shred, and slice food products and produce using provided equipment. Follow recipes and procedures set forth for food items. Review all prepped items used, checking for quality and proper rotation. Possesses a clear understanding of weights and measures. Portions of meats, dressings, and cheeses. Washes, chops, grates, and slices vegetables. Cuts and slices meats to the appropriate portion sizes. Displays superior knife skills and can quickly and safely slice or chop ingredients into exact portions called for in the recipe.
Roosters' provides a great training program for all individuals at every level through our Passport Program. There is no experience required. We will train you on the job by one of our very own Certified Wingman Trainers, and you will be paid for training. Through your training in the Passport Program, you will receive pay raises after 30 days and 90 days of employment.
