The Prep Cook is responsible for quality control, sanitation practices, and preparation of ingredients for sandwich stations. This role is important to the effort of providing customers with excellent, quality products.
Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
Assists in the creation of food offerings
Accepts deliveries, slices and portions out appropriately in support of production schedules
Pulls ingredients such as meats, cheeses, and breads for preparation and assure that items are properly stored
Cooks eggs and prepares products such as burritos, eggs and muffins, etc.
Prepares overnight oats and parfaits for following day
Prepares smoothie ingredients
Prepares seasonings
Assists bakers
Communicates ingredient inventory needs
Performs assigned cleaning duties, typically scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly
Follows all health codes and maintain exceptional sanitation standards
Reports all equipment and maintenance problems to the Head Baker, Assistant Baker, and General Manager
Expectations
Start work by 5AM on scheduled work days (THURSDAY - SUNDAY PREFERRED, FRIDAY - SUNDAY REQUIRED)
Follow processes and procedures recorded in Employee Handbook
Take direction from managers and assist where needed
Maintain regular and reliable attendance
Report to work in proper uniform, abiding by the dress code:

The Prep Cook assists in food preparation, in support of running efficient and healthy kitchens in Black Cap Coffee & Bakery shops. The Prep Cook is responsible for quality control, sanitation practices, and preparation of ingredients for sandwich stations. This role is important to the effort of providing customers with excellent, quality products.
Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
Assists in the creation of food offerings
Accepts deliveries, slices and portions out appropriately in support of production schedules
Pulls ingredients such as meats, cheeses, and breads for preparation and assure that items are properly stored
Cooks eggs and prepares products such as burritos, eggs and muffins, etc.
Prepares overnight oats and parfaits for following day
Prepares smoothie ingredients
Prepares seasonings
Assists bakers
Communicates ingredient inventory needs
Performs assigned cleaning duties, typically scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly
Follows all health codes and maintain exceptional sanitation standards
Reports all equipment and maintenance problems to the Head Baker, Assistant Baker, and General Manager
Expectations
Start work by 5AM on scheduled work days
Follow processes and procedures recorded in Employee Handbook
Take direction from managers and assist where needed
Maintain regular and reliable attendance
Report to work in proper uniform, abiding by the dress code:
