Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: This leader is responsible for collaborating with center HSE leadership to establish and drive the overall execution of a global process safety management (PSM) program to ensure systems are built, maintained and operated in a manner that ensures our commitment to protecting our people and the communities in which we operate. This leader shall collaborate across the HSE Center and Plant Teams and with other functions (e.g. Global Technical Services, Plant Engineering Teams) to ensure compliance with appropriate Clorox and Regulatory Requirements (OSHA Process Safety Management Standard and EPA Risk Management Planning Standard). This leader inspires the development of a strong, consistent, and proactive safety culture focused on risk assessment and mitigation, people engagement and empowerment and continual improvement. This position resides within the HSE Center of Excellence (COE) and will be expected to support remotely and in person, all operations including, but not limited to, manufacturing, r&d, warehouses, offices and joint ventures. In this role, you will: Enterprise-Level Responsibilities: Manage and, where necessary, create and deploy programs to ensure compliance with OSHA's Process Safety Management Standard, EPA's Chemical Accident Prevention Provision Risk Management Plan (RMP) regulation and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Drive awareness and understanding of PSM as a discipline among business leader and define a multi-year strategy to engage leaders in PSM program. Lead and/or facilitate safety assessments including but not limited to: HAZOP, PHA, LOPA, HAZID, FMEA, FTA and other relevant assessments based upon need. Build capability across the company through training colleagues in PSM assessment methodologies (e.g. HAZOP, PHA, FMEA). Supports key compliance activities for the 14 Elements of PSM and RMP as needed. Such activities include but are not limited to Process Safety Information, Process Hazard Analysis, Operating Procedures, Operator Training, Mechanical Integrity, Management of Change, Incident Investigation, Compliance Audits and Risk Management Plans. Participates in multi-year capital expense management to ensure appropriate funding and prioritization of process safety/system resiliency improvements. Supports and facilitates internal compliance assessments and external compliance audit activities for PSM and RMP compliance. Leads and facilitates PSM/RMP incident investigations and root cause analyses. Build agile process safety audit tool with the capability of being deployed across all plants to assess operating discipline and design safety of plant processes. Supports design review of plans and technical documents for compliance in new construction and for modified facilities. BU and Plant-level Responsibilities: Disseminate Center HSE policies/procedures and related Clorox policies/procedures and ensure they are implemented in a standardized way across covered plants. Work across BUs in collaboration with plant leadership to create/maintain a strong, consistent safety culture that delivers Center HSE objectives. Connect plant leadership with relevant Center HSE, Supply Chain, BU, and legal stakeholders and leaders when escalations are needed to ensure enterprise-wide consistency or compliance with legal obligations. Assess and, where needed, improve plant level HSE training in PSM methodologies to ensure adequate capability and operating discipline. Travel to various plants and corporate locations (domestic and internationally) as needed to effectively perform responsibilities and support direct reports. Disseminate HSE best practices among plants. What we look for: 5+ years of experience managing Process Safety Management, ideally with experience managing PSM across multiple locations. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred Demonstrated expertise in OSHA PSM, OSHA RMP and strong working knowledge in CCPS PSM Demonstrated expertise in leading, facilitating and training individuals in PSM assessments. Demonstrated expertise in auditing PSM programs. Experience leading and executing cultural change across multiple BUs / plants Deep knowledge of HSE-related topics and challenges, enterprise goals and culture management Collaborates effectively and frequently with key stakeholders; is a trusted advisor who can influence HSE-related decisions. Demonstrates emotional intelligence and the ability to relate to and work with colleagues in a constructive and effective manner. Elevates the knowledge of and sensitivity to HSE-related topics and concerns into the broader business dialogue. Focuses on building a comprehensive, uniform safety culture across the Clorox enterprise-, BU-, and plant-levels. Synthesizes HSE-related concerns into executive and board level communications. Builds high performing teams; is a highly effective coach to team members; Provides feedback that stretches individual development. This role requires strong internal control skills, ability to promote a culture of accountability and curiosity and have a continuous improvement mindset. **In this role, you will:** + Billing: Ensure accurate and timely generation of invoices to customers, adhering to company policies and compliance standards and ensure proper revenue recognition. + Cash Application: Monitor and review daily cash receipts, accurately apply payments to customer accounts and invoices based on agreed upon SLA. Identify discrepancies timely and proactively resolve. + Reporting: Provide all necessary reporting and analytics for monthly accounting close including Accounts Receivable owner , Allowance for Doubtful Accounts, Order to Cash Reserve, working capital requirements and other reporting needs to support the monthly and quarterly financial statement close. Ensure MSP reporting for owned areas is monitored daily, owner of ensuring data integrity and highlighting issues as arise. + Owner of internal controls for owned areas, ensuring strong control environment, operating as designed and any deficiencies are identified early and a robust remediation plan is developed , executed and monitored. + Credit Management: Assess customer worthiness/credit risk, set credit limits and manage credit risk. Owner of Clorox Credit Policy, ensuring adherence and updates to policies as needed. Owner of Order to Cash Reserve based on credit risk. Proactively manage customers and external environment to mitigate company exposure. + Collections: Develop and implement strategies to effectively collect outstanding payments from customers with overdue balances and ensuring meeting SLA consistently. Manage disputes as needed and highlight risks in performance timely. + Lead, mentor and manage an internal team, providing guidance, support and performance feedback timely and frequently. + Maintain strong relationship with MSP delivery leads, meeting regularly to identify gaps, prioritize , monitor performance and initiatives, understand current gaps and remediation plans. + Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers to address billing inquiries, payment concerns, overdue balances and resolve issues promptly. + Ensure all Accounts Receivable processes are effectively managed, holding MSP partner and Clorox direct reports accountable for timely and accurate completion of activities. + Accountable for the performance of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for owned areas, and developing and managing corrective action as necessary . Proactive and daily monitoring of performance including SLAs and quality of operations. + Proactively identify challenges, issues and resolve escalated issues timely in accordance with defined protocol. Ensure these escalation matrices are updated frequently for new learnings and with a continuous improvement mindset.
