In this role, you'll:

Greet every customer with a smile
Direct customers to their desired destinations when parking or retrieving their vehicles
Assist with service write-up and tagging of customer vehicles
Assist with efficient vehicle flow within the dealership as service tickets are generated
Assist Advisors and Technicians by moving client vehicles to and from the shop and anything else they may need to complete the service visit
Provide shuttle service to customers, when requested
Reports to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees or customers
Maintains cleanliness of service area, keeping floor clean and dry, as necessary
Responsible for garbage removal
Cleans driveway and walkways, removing debris, ice, and snow, as necessary
Complies with DARCARS policies and procedures
Assist in dealer exchanges
Other duties as assigned
For this role, you'll need:
Strong communication skills with both customers and DARCARS employees
Demonstrated commitment to customer service
Requires a High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs
Must have visual acuity that meets Maryland MVA requirements in order to operate company and customer vehicles
Ability to work outdoors and on your feet for extended periods of time in various weather conditions

A Day in the Life of a Porter/Groundskeeper:

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Director, Facilities Management and working very closely with the Facilities Coordinator, the Facilities Porter will ensure that the Klein Center remain organized and sanitized. The Facilities staff supports overall operations by ensuring that all relevant areas are clean, organized, and stored. In addition to consistent maintenance and sanitation of the Klein Center, this role is also responsible for maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and ensuring that supplies are ordered in time by communicating these needs to the Facilities Coordinator or Facilities Management Director.
