Safely operate trash compactors, cardboard baler, dumpster caddy, truck and utility hauling vehicles related to trash program. Move trash and recycling bins in and out for scheduled pickups. Wipe down and sanitize gym and fitness equipment at regularly scheduled intervals. Assist with make readies, trash-outs, cleaning, spiffs, change locks, rekeys, and makes keys for vacant or occupied apartments and guest rooms. Maintain awareness of proper safety precautions. Ensure that storage areas remain locked when not in use. Safeguard all utility meter cut-offs, apartment, and fixture cut-offs, and drain cleanouts. Keep dumpster/compactor doors closed and ensure waste is disposed in the correct recycling or waste disposal bin. Perform interior and exterior painting duties as assigned. Distribute resident communications to residents: e.g., upcoming events, pest control notices, and newsletters. Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, state and federal laws: e.g., OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, etc. Maintain and upkeeps exterior lighting on a regular basis. Monitor, maintains, and cleans all interior and exterior common areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, walkways, hallways, amenity spaces, parking garage, elevators, and sidewalks Perform other duties as required.
