Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in luxury Housekeeping operations, preferably within villa-style resorts or ultra-luxury properties. Remote island or Caribbean resort experience is strongly preferred. Proven ability to lead large teams in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with high service expectations. Deep knowledge of luxury housekeeping standards, materials, finishes, and cleaning protocols. Strong organizational and administrative skills, including knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and inventory management. Professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Clean and sanitize guest room bathrooms, i.e. sink, shower, toilet. Dust, vacuum, clean and organize guest room area- bedroom. Strip and replace all linens Ensure that trash and debris are removed Rooms are organized according to Raving Fan Spec book. On a daily basis, ensure proper supplies are on cart in order to work productively Attend pre-shift and retrieve daily assignments Clean walls, doors, balconies, i.e. sweep Report any hazards or deficiencies in the room, using Espresso system Vacuum entrance way to guest room. Input room status using telephone, upon completion of guest room. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Supervision: None Education: High School degree is a plus QUALIFICATIONS: Work experience as a Room Attendant or Housekeeping experience. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products. Good physical health and stamina. Flexibility to work in shifts and long hours. Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards. Excellent organization skills. Ability to follow instructions. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks, demands and establishing priorities. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Skill in working independently and following through with assignments with minimal direction. Skill in adapting to a changing work environment, competing demands and ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Basic ability to operate a computer using Microsoft Office products (Word and Outlook) and learn to use applicable division and organization specific software. Cleans guest rooms including, making bed, dusting, vacuuming, etc. Cleans and sanitizes guest bathrooms; removes trash Inspects room items such as alarms, light bulbs, TV, remote control, hairdryer, toilet, and sinks to ensure they are properly working Notifies Housekeeping Dispatcher of any maintenance issues in guest rooms Cleans items such as refrigerator, coffee mugs, glasses, ice buckets and cups Notifies Housekeeping Inspector or management when supplies need to be ordered Notifies Housekeeping Dispatcher when cleaning is complete so rooms may be inspected Notifies housekeeping of any discrepancies in room status Notifies immediate supervisors promptly of all problems or unusual matters in guest rooms Reports and/or logs all lost and found items according to established procedures Maintains cleanliness and organization of floor closets and storage rooms Reports the guest consumption of food and beverage items to the front desk so charges can be billed to the guest Maintains and ensures compliance of all policies and procedures
