DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains compliance with the company policies, practices, procedures, and safety standards. Know all the features and amenities of the hotel, and amenities and services at Fair Oaks Farms. Reports to work on time when scheduled. Receives room assignments and keys from Executive Housekeeper. Obtains housekeeping cart from storage room and verifies that cart is properly stocked. Cleans assigned rooms in accordance with standard operating procedure, performing duties such as dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, restocking paper and soap supplies. Completes room assignment sheet, recording completed rooms and special comments. Complete a stayover with the visual mindset as a check out except with the guest belongings currently in the room. Completes Maintenance Work Orders for rooms needing maintenance repairs. Vacuums hallways in assigned section of rooms. Collects soiled linens and delivers to laundry room. Completes most of assigned rooms check prior to 3:00 pm; exceptions will apply. Reports any discrepancies to Executive Housekeeper. Restocks housekeeping cart and returns cart to storage room. Maintain and organizes their cart in a housekeeping closet in an orderly fashion Deep cleans guest rooms according to standard operating procedure as assigned. Returns keys and room assignment sheet to Executive Housekeeper and obtains approval to clock-out. Reports in uniforms, which is cleaned and pressed, and includes name tag. Attends and participates in all staff meetings. Receives approval from Executive prior to leaving at the end of the shift, ensuring that cleaning standards have been met and any deficiencies have been resolved. Performs other duties as needed or assigned.

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for supporting the Company's sanitation food safety program by focusing on proper cleaning and sanitizing of plant equipment and building in a manner that meets and complies with all food safety policies, FDA and OSHA regulations. All assigned guest rooms must be cleaned in allotted time period specified by housekeeping office. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Use appropriate cleaning chemicals on appropriate items only as trained. Do not mix chemicals together or use straight out of original bottle. Must use appropriate safety measures. Gloves are available in the housekeeping department. Be aware of blood borne pathogen procedures and contact supervisor when needed. All guest bathrooms are to be cleaned with appropriate chemicals and hot water. All surfaces must be disinfected using proper cleaning procedures. All dirty linen must be placed in linen bag on cart. No trash or housekeeping glasses are to be on floor in hallway. Keep work area neat and clean at all times. Carts should be cleaned at end of day. Remove room service trays from guest rooms and place neatly outside door. Bring all lost and found items to housekeeping office with room number and date on them. If it is something valuable, it needs to be given directly to a housekeeping supervisor to ensure it is locked up immediately. Notify your supervisor of any maintenance issues in guest rooms. Any other tasks assigned involving guest room cleaning. Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude towards guests at all times. ADDITIONALLY: Bed linens must be changed according to standards set by housekeeping office. Vacant and dirty rooms MUST be changed daily. Any suspicions by supervisors or management that sheets are not being changed by that employee will be subject to being marked by Executive Housekeeper and supervisor. If not changed, employee will be immediately terminated due to health code violations. Sheets in occupied stayover rooms will be changed every third day unless otherwise specified by guest; or if a stain is noticed by room attendant or supervisor. Linen must also be changed on rollaway and cribs in the same manner.
