Essential Functions & Responsibilities
o Detail, clean and disinfect all areas of the Club; internal and external including walkways and parking lot
o Routinely complete walkthroughs which include but are not limited to trash removal, locker room spot cleaning and re-racking weights
o Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks as assigned by Defined Fitness Management
o Communicate regularly with all team members in a polite and respectful manner
o Keep the facility organized for members to utilize throughout the day
o Assists with large projects such as painting under supervision
o Other duties as assigned
Qu alifications
o Must be able to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision
o Must be available and able to work any day of the week including holidays
o PC literate
o Must have a valid CPR/AED certification, including infant and child, within the first 45 days of employment and maintain valid certification throughout employment
o Experience working in a similar position or in janitorial service preferred

Physical Plant Services (PPS) supports the educational and public service programs of Fort Lewis College through the delivery of effective operations support, maintenance services and management of the College facilities construction programs. The Custodian Services work unit exists to provide a safe, clean and functional campus through continuous maintenance, of College facilities and provide support for College events. This position exists to support the mission of the Custodial Services work unit to ensure that the buildings assigned are clean, sanitary and presentable.
