Equipment, Aids, Tools and Materials
Uses cleaning equipment which includes but is not limited to: wheeled carts, mops, brooms, rags, and cleaning chemicals. The use of power equipment used by custodial staff is required. FUSD recognizes that ever changing development of cleaning supplies and materials but expects all staff to keep abreast of changing requirements and use provided to them.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position involves the performance of manual labor, primarily in the cleaning and maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cleans district offices, classrooms, sidewalks and other areas; sweeps, dusts, mops, vacuums, waxes and polishes floors.
Reports safety hazards and need for repairs.
Performs some ground duties such as mowing, trimming, planting and watering.
Perform some maintenance such as changing out lights and minor plumbing
Assist maintenance team on renovations and projects
Strives constantly to promote the safety, health, and comfort of the students and employees.
QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to do considerable physical activities in varied areas
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to climb and work at ladder heights not greater than 30'.
Ability to lift 50 lbs is required.
Must possess or be able to obtain an IVP Fingerprint Clearance card through DPS.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
One-year experience in custodial settings.
Must have or be able to obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
