EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Plumber in our Hughes Network Systems division to provide preventative and corrective maintenance and installation of commercial plumbing systems. This position will be in our Germantown, MD office.
Responsibilities:
Assist workers engaged in installation, repair, and service of commercial plumbing systems.
Ability to cut, bend, fit, thread, and join piping and tubing practices. (PVC, Copper, Cast Iron, Steel, CPVC)
Perform general facilities maintenance tasks as needed.
Travel within the Germantown/Gaithersburg area to support our three (3) facilities in Montgomery County.
Core Hours M-F, 8 am - 5 pm; Be "On-Call" which rotates for one (1) week approximately every four (4) weeks.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Journeyman Plumbing License or higher
5 - 8 years of experience with knowledge of troubleshooting, service, and repair techniques to commercial plumbing systems.
Current valid driver's license.
Essential Qualifications:
Must have the ability to climb ladders.
Lift up to 60 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Service truck experience highly preferred.
Willing to cross-train for other trades.
The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
