This position leads and directs plumbing work within Collin County, and serves as a mentor to Building Maintenance Tech I and II positions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assembling, installing, maintaining and pressure testing all pipes, fittings and fixtures, determining sources of plumbing malfunctions and completing repairs according to work orders. Installing and repairing pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, commodes, water heaters, and water softeners. Installing support and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment. Reading blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks and waste drainage systems. Detecting necessary repairs on buildings, grounds and equipment. Responding to emergency calls, as needed. Performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment. Other duties as assigned. This position must serve as an expert in the plumbing field from minor repairs to complex repairs and reconfiguration of water lines.
Candidates must have the knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical, or office processes. Must have knowledge of plumbing codes and safety in the plumbing trade. Must have over three years of experience in building maintenance and five years of plumbing work. Must have at least six months of advanced study or training past the high school equivalency. Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Operator's Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. Must also possess a Master Plumber License.

Qualifications:

Pipe Fitter Job Profile Pipe Fitter 2.0 Nature & Objective: A support position to ISO Services. The Pipe Fitter provides support for fabrication, installation, and repair of piping, steel structure, and associated equipment, and for other activities involving ISO Services.
3.0 Reports to:
Site Superintendent or Foreman
4.0 Position Qualifications:
Requires High School Diploma or G.E.D Requires successful completion of training as outlined by ISO Services. Requires strong communication and organizational skills.
* Responsibilities include the following:
* Minimum 3-5 years of industrial pipefitting experience
* Keeps safe work habits as the highest priority at all times
* Follows policies and practices as stated in the Employee Handbook and other facility policy and procedure manuals
* Maintains a clean and well organized workspace at all times
* Strives to develop good working relationships with all co-workers, customers, and associates
* Read, understand and work off of blueprints (piping isometrics)
* Fabricates piping and structural steel
* Perform measurements and field fabrication as required
* Operates forklift to perform various tasks
* Use track torch, beveling torch, hand torch, plasma arc and other specialized tools
* Perform rigging and erection
* Repairs and services piping, tanks, boilers, vessels and valves
* Perform bolt-up and torque flanges
* Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic testing
* Supply and be proficient with basic pipefitting hand tools
* On-call duties as required
* Projects a positive, "can-do" attitude to all customers
* Travel and overnight stay for several weeks at a time.
* Other miscellaneous maintenance duties as requested
6.0 Physical Requirements
* Must be able to lift a minimum of 50#.
* Must be in a physical condition that will allow walking long distances
* Must be able to work in high places(no fear of heights)
* Must be able to work in any environment(heat, cold, rain)
* Must be able to physically work up to 84 hours a week, if necessary
* Must be able to stand for a long period of time
* Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, twist, reach and climb
* Must be able to work in confined spaces
* Must be well-groomed
