Under general supervision, the Plumbing Team Member is responsible for skilled plumbing work in the maintenance, repair, and installation of gas, water, sewer, storm drains, water wells, and irrigation, and performs related duties as required in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures. The Plumbing Employee will be using a variety of power tools and heavy machinery to accomplish the job duties including installing and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures; operating and maintaining pumps and water treatment systems, hot and cold water systems and similar components, water wells, and irrigation fixtures; making periodic inspections of systems of safe and efficient operation; estimate material and labor, and total cost of repair and installation jobs. The Plumbing Employee will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, construction, and daily checks on water park attractions in accordance to the Company's policies and procedures. The Plumber, Apprentice is an entry-level role where you will gain hands on experience under the guidance of a licensed plumber. With on-the-job training, you will learn fundamental plumbing skills assisting with installations and repairs, while supervised by experienced plumbers. The Plumber, Apprentice program at Salt Lake Community College consists of 4 levels of training, with salary increases upon completion of each level.
