Perform a variety of duties to clean and maintain the plant site yard and grounds including lawn mowing, weed-eating, watering lawn, cleaning & watering trees, and picking up rocks & trash.
Will be required to clean equipment & vehicles, clean shop floor drains, clean inside coal buildings, operate lawn sprinklers, & complete routine housekeeping tasks.
Will be required to operate related tools and equipment.
Frequent medium lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.
Must be able to work outdoors in variety of weather conditions.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Requires the ability to perform physical requirements of the job.
Must be able to read and follow written and verbal instructions at a level normally acquired through a high school diploma.

Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Foreman, you will install, troubleshoot, and maintain underground gas and oil distribution piping systems in a safe manner, completing tasks promptly
Construct, install, and maintain piping systems, and equipment for natural gas utilities
Join piping by means of fusion, electrofusion, mechanical coupled joints or welded fittings
Verify specifications by performing quality assurance tests
Load and unload equipment and materials; keep worksite clean and organized free from unnecessary hazards
Maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications
Perform other tasks as requested by leadership
Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
Ensure your utilities are located
Support crew with handling and fusing pipe, rigging and setting pipe, bolt up and hydrotesting
Fuse pipe that is ditched, above ground or drilled in the ground
Ensure every fuse meets quality standards and Inspector improved
Keep tools in complete working order / Fusing machines / Data logger
Manage inventory on the truck
Teach other employees how to fuse pipe to the correct specs
Keep worksite clean and organized, free from unnecessary hazards
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Pipefitter in the oil and gas industry
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in all types of weather conditions
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
High school diploma or its equivalent

* Inspect worksites to determine presence of obstructions and to ascertain that holes will not cause structural weakness
* Plan the sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers
* Prep material for welding by cutting or grinding using porta-band, pipe cutters, hammer, and chisel, cutting torch, and/or grinder
* Thread pipe using threading machine
* Secure pipes to structure with bolt up, clamps, brackets, tack welding and hangars using hand tools and machines
* Test piping system for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges attached to pipes for indication of leaks
* Compare and recognize differences in the size, shape and form of lines, figures, and objects
* Reads and understands plans, isometrics, arrangement drawings, details, specifications, erection manuals and/or blueprints and make decisions based on measurable criteria
* Visualizes objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings
* Work within precise limits and ASNI and ASME standards of accuracy
* Attends training sessions, seminars and appropriate educational classes required by department
