• Fills pipe system with water or air and reads pressure gauges to determine whether system is leaking.
• Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures such as sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.
• Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains.

+ Dig trenches/install pipes and piping fixtures for water or sewage systems
+ Immerse pipes in chemical solutions such as bleach and dispersants to remove oil, dirt, and scale
+ Mount hangers and brackets on walls to provide support for pipes
+ Ensure compliance with building codes and set safety standards
+ Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
+ Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.
+ Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition.
+ Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting, climbing, etc.
+ Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately.\
+ Liaise with contractors, and other construction workers to ensure an effective plumbing system.

**Qualifications:**
+ **High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent**
+ **Valid driver's license.**
+ **Master Plumbing License**
+ **Minimum five years of verifiable plumbing experience working in plumbing service & remodel field.**
+ Ability to read and comprehend instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals.
+ Ability to write service reports.
+ Ability to effectively present information to supervisors and/or customer.
+ Knowledge of plumbing systems.
+ Basic mathematical abilities in all units of measure
**Physical Demands** :
+ Lifting frequently. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
+ Standing for extended periods, up to 6 hours per day.
+ Walking, continuously.
+ Climbing ladders while carrying weight
+ Wearing personal protective gear correctly including glasses, gloves, respirator, hard hat and other PPE required.

Job Responsibilities :
+ Assist with the performance of routine service and maintenance of fire sprinkler/standpipe systems and related equipment.
+ Replace painted fire sprinkler heads, replace portions of corroded fire sprinkler piping, perform small TI's modifications, repair fire sprinkler leaks, recharge antifreeze, reset & troubleshoot dry valves, changeout gauge packs, replace drain valves.
+ Operate Rigid power machine and thread and groove pipe.
+ Accurately complete and return all field paperwork on time.
+ Interface with customers to explain work to be performed, answer their questions, and address their concerns in a knowledgeable and respectful manner.
+ Provide accurate and complete information on reports
+ Manage time including time on the job as well as time on road to job sites.
Job Requirements:
+ 5+ years' experience servicing, maintaining fire sprinkler systems.
+ Must possess a valid drivers' license in addition to a good driving record.
