The Plumber, Apprentice is an entry-level role where you will gain hands on experience under the guidance of a licensed plumber. With on-the-job training, you will learn fundamental plumbing skills assisting with installations and repairs, while supervised by experienced plumbers. The Plumber, Apprentice program at Salt Lake Community College consists of 4 levels of training, with salary increases upon completion of each level. Apprentices will gradually take on more complex tasks as they gain experience, increased responsibilities, and expertise. In this position, it will be your job to assist our residential and commercial clients with all of their plumbing and drainage issues. Your tasks will involve locating leaks and repairing them, as well as repairing blockages and corrosion that are impacting the quality of the client's system.
