What you need:
Three to five (3-5) years of experience in contract sales of sprinkler systems or sprinkler design.

Position Description
Assemble, install and repair pipes, fitting and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems according to customer specifications and plumbing codes.
Job Responsibilities
* Study plans and drawings to determine work required and sequence of installation.
* Inspect structure to ascertain obstructions to be avoided to prevent weakening of structure resulting from installation of pipe.
* Locate and mark position of pipe and pipe connections and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors, spirit level, and plumb bob.
* Select correct pipe, elbows, flanges, fixtures and hangers or supports.
* Cut and thread pipe using pipe cutters, cutting torch and pipe-threading machine.
* Bend pipe to required angle by use of pipe-bending machine or by placing pipe over block and bending it by hand.
* Cut openings in floors and walls to accommodate pipe and fittings using hand tools and power tools.
* Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings and pipes of different materials such as metals, glass, verified clay or plastic hand held and power tools.
* Join pipes by use of screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulks joints.
* Fill pipe system with water or air and reads pressure gauges to determine whether system is leaking.
* Install and repair plumbing fixtures.
* Repair and maintain plumbing, mend burst pipes, and open clogged drains.
* May weld holding fixtures to steel structural members.

Job Qualifications
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Completed Plumbing course at a technical or trade school or minimum of 3 years of experience working in the field.
* Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly with supervisor/co-workers and understand direction from supervisor.
* Utilize basic math, a ruler and calculator to solve geometric problems associated with running Plumbing Pipe and fixtures.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, bend, twist, stand and reach repetitively, operate equipment and work in hot/cold/damp/cramped environment.

Job Summary: The Fire Sprinkler Foreman is responsible for overseeing
all aspects from start to finish of
the installation of a fire sprinkler system. Additionally, the responsibility of the Sprinkler foreman to ensure the safe installation of these systems in commercial and residential buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete layout, installation, repair, and maintenance of fire sprinkler, standpipe, and fire pump systems.
Installation of pipe fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers per design plan and codes to properly protect building.
Read blueprints and/or working drawings to properly install, repair, and maintain systems
Organizes and prepares materials and equipment to be moved to and from the job site.
Communicating project, schedule and design changes to Field Superintendent and Project Manager.
Plan installation or repair to ensure that the customer is not adversely affected or restricted.
Documenting and reporting water damage, injuries, and/or accidents to Field Superintendent and General Manager immediately when an incident occurs.
Follows all safety rules and guidelines and ensures all co-workers are following the same.
Train Fitters and Helpers on proper installation techniques.
Position will require candidate to be placed on the emergency on-call rotation
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
5 years minimum experience in fire system installation and repair
Must have basic knowledge of NFPA 13, 20, 24 & 25
Strong work ethic, professional attitude, honest & hard working
Valid drivers license with clean driving record
Must be able to pass a criminal background check & drug screening
Must be able to lift heavy loads (Ladders, Power Machine, Hand Tools, Pipe, etc.)
Must be comfortable with heights, working on ladders or lifts, or in confined spaces.
High School diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements
While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working in various environments, including industrial facilities, commercial buildings and outdoor settings, which can potentially expose employees to noise, dust, heat stress, thermal stress, low light conditions, heights, etc.
Capable of standing, walking, bending and kneeling for extended periods
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as needed, which would require use of fall protection equipment and other safety devices
Capable of using hand and power tools, including specialty tools resulting in cutting, grinding, drilling, fastening and other methods resulting in torque, vibration, noise, etc.
