Performs pressure testing on newly installed plumbing systems; inspects to ensure that installation conforms to local, state, and federal codes and regulations and contract specifications; and makes final inspection to ensure all fixtures are in place and property connected. Performs renovations or repairs to swimming pools; monitors pool water, chlorine levels, and sand filters; installs chlorinators and injectors; maintains and/or replaces valves, lint strainers, motors, pumps, filters, and sand; ensures compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations Determines amount of materials needed to complete projects; provides cost projections as requested; gathers equipment, tools, parts, and supplies; monitors inventory levels; and orders new or replacement materials as required.
