Key Responsibilities: - Event Support & Flexibility: Be flexible to accommodate major campus events, supporting athletic venues and other special functions while ensuring plumbing systems run without interruption. - Preventive Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PDM) to identify and prevent potential failures across a wide variety of plumbing systems, from bathrooms to laboratories. - Installation & Repairs: Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot plumbing components such as pumps, faucets, valves, traps, water heaters, sewage systems, and other campus-related plumbing infrastructure. - Project Support: Assist central shops and contractors with ongoing projects and respond quickly to maintenance requests across the university. - Team Collaboration: Work alongside a collaborative team of electricians, HVAC techs, and maintenance personnel to maintain UCF's facilities. Minimum Qualifications - Licensing: Must hold a valid Plumber's License in the State of Florida. - Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant plumbing experience in maintenance, installation, and repair work.
