Completes assigned projects with quality workmanship by using hand or power tools (such as sewer auger or vacuum plunger, acetylene torch, soldering and welding tools, pipe threaders and cutters, gas leak detector, sewer camera, pipe locator, and appropriate chemicals) to install, alter, or rebuild high pressure steam, water, and gas lines, valves, traps, drains, basins, faucets, electronic flush valves and faucets, lavatories, sinks, hydrants, and other plumbing fixtures and equipment, cutting and joining pipes (both threaded and fusion welded), and recommending the use of additional departmental personnel or contract personnel (as appropriate) to meet assigned completion targets. 3.
