• Primarily responsible for conducting subbing sessions for other clients to sustain the productivity margin if a session is cancelled by the family. Subbing sessions will fall on Saturdays and within the employee's availability.

• Implements individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Intervention Plans in response to the direction provided by the Clinical Director and Senior Clinical Leader/Clinical Leader and/or other clinical staff in order to improve the behavior and skill acquisition of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Travels to Center, Home, and other community settings to deliver services.
• Subbing sessions will primarily take place in the regional centers

Major Job Activities:

+ The Contractor shall operate, maintain, and repair potable and fire water distribution systems including wells, reservoirs, booster stations, storage tanks, pump stations, cathodic protection units, chlorinating units, surge tanks, hydrants, sprinkler systems, and related distribution infrastructure IAW AFMAN 32-1067.
+ Perform cross-connection inspections and prevent backflow of all water systems and equipment in the cross-connection program.
+ Performs water flow tests as directed by the Government IAW UFC 3-230-02.
+ Conducts bacteriological sampling and analysis after repair to verify the water system has not been contaminated.

Assist with cutting, bending, assembling, and installing various pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water, sanitary, drainage, heating, gas, and other plumbing systems which involve the performance at hand, bench and maintenance plumbing tasks.

Assist with installing, altering, and repairing valves, fittings, and other plumbing parts and equipment, including such items as hot water boilers, sterilizers, steam tables, sinks, thermal control apparatus, sprinkler heads, hydrants, and service pipes.
Assist with repairing and installing new water and drainage lines and waste and sewage pipes.
Assist with checking plumbing fixtures for leaks and other defects; opening and cleaning clogged drains, pipes, and traps.
Maintains simple working records and reports as directed.
Working Conditions:
Requires progressive responsibility for carrying our duties according to instructions. The nature of work involves considerable dexterity in the use of fingers, hands, limbs and body with exposure to physical and working conditions where moderately serious injuries may occur.

Applicant must be a current indentured UA Local 38 Plumber Apprentice working for the City and County of San Francisco who has successfully completed training and related instruction for 7465 General Plumber Apprentice I; OR
Applicant must be a current indentured UA Local 38 Plumber Apprentice who has successfully completed at least two and a half (2.5) years (4,140 hours) of their combined work process and classroom study.

This is an agreement with the employer City and the Apprentice, which is filed with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations Division of Apprenticeship Standards, that the employer will train the apprentice in accordance with the apprenticeship standards and the collective bargaining agreement or MOU.
Physical skills require considerable physical effort in the installation, repair and maintenance of water mains, pipes, meters, fire hydrants, gate valves, the ability to lift heavy objects up to 55lbs; physical stamina to stand, stoop, bend, climb ladders and for confined space entry in tight crawl spaces.

Inspects high pressure, air, steam, water and gas systems to ascertain malfunctions.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent with on-the-job and formal classroom training in plumbing work in construction, maintenance, commercial, and residential environments
Four years' experience in plumbing repair, maintenance, and installation in addition to on-the-job training
Plumbing and/or gas license as required by local, state, provincial, or national governmental regulations
EPA and safety certifications required
Current knowledge of and continuing education in national, state, and local plumbing code regulations
Proficient mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various plumbing projects
