Eagle Brook Church is a multi-site church looking for an outgoing, relational, and organized Pastor of Student Ministries to join our campus team. This person will lead the middle school and high school programs and connect with parents and volunteers at the respected campus. A person skilled in recruiting and developing volunteer leaders and connecting with students will thrive in this role. POSITION SUMMARY
Delivers high quality experiences for students at the campus. Actively recruits and develops volunteers with the goal of connecting and building relationships with students and equipping and engaging parents. Provides pastoral care and direction for students, parents, and other attendees at the campus. Reports to the Campus Pastor.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Encourages and challenges volunteer leaders in their individual spiritual formation and leadership so they are prepared to disciple students and model a vibrant, authentic personal relationship with Jesus
Promotes the value of groups by empowering and equipping small group leaders
Serves as a community connection between schools, local ministries, and other key influencers in the community
Acts as the “Campus Pastor” for middle school and high school students by delivering EBC's mid-week student programs with excellence
Actively participates on the campus team and helps foster a healthy and dynamic staff environment
Partners and collaborates with peers to execute the centrally designed midweek programs
Facilitates volunteer leader meetings, trainings, and one-on-ones with key leaders
Leads approximately 3 student trips per year
Performs pastoral functions (i.e., care visits, weddings, funerals)
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience (typically 4+ years) required
Bachelor's degree, seminary training, or equivalent combination of education and experience (typically 8+ years) preferred
2+ years of experience building, leading, equipping, and motivating volunteer leaders and teams of people
3+ years of active and relevant student ministry leadership experience
Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook's nine core beliefs
Excellent communication skills; written, verbal, and interpersonal
Experience in leading and coordinating ministry initiatives
Strong ability to multitask, be organized and handle a high volume of details
Skills in problem solving and conflict resolution techniques
High energy and a passion to operate in a team environment, with openness to collaboration and work cross functionally with other teams
Ability to understand and relate to students and their families
Must meet Biblical qualifications for pastoral leadership
JOB DETAILS
Location: Lino Lakes, MN
Status: exempt / salary
Salary Range: $55,000-$63,000
Full/Part Time: full time
Regular/Temporary: regular
Workdays: Saturday - Wednesday or Sunday - Thursday depending on campus service schedule
Work Hours: varies, Wednesday nights for Student Ministries, needs to be available to meet with volunteers or when care is needed, and for specials events.
Remote Eligible: may be eligible to work from home one day per week

Position Description: Orchard NEO Church Planters will be responsible for developing and implementing vision frames for new church plants over a 2-year program. Planters will work with Orchard NEO coaches and ministry leaders at Christ Community Chapel (CCC) to develop the structures of their churches. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing deep understandings of the communities they are launching in, recruiting launch teams, and discipling future leaders with the help of their coaches. The selected resident will be expected to model Christ in all aspects of their personal and professional ministries and demonstrate an ability to implement coaching into practice. This position reports to the Executive Director of Operations.
Responsibilities:
1st Year of Residency
• Maintain a deep and consistent relationship with Jesus
• Attend weekly church services at CCC and serve as directed
• Preach at various local churches
• Attend weekly lectures and seminars and complete associated readings
• Craft church plant vision
• Participate in weekly coaching sessions
• Responsible for developing launch team and its team members
• Host consistent vision and recruiting meetings for launch team
• Practice Biblical hospitality with neighbors and launch team members
• Regularly pastor and disciple future church members
• Coordinate and execute community events and service projects
• Develop and enact ministry strategies
• Train group members in community engagement and evangelism
• Identify and prepare future church leadership team
• Launch church
2nd Year of Residency and Beyond
• Plan and execute weekend services for launched church
• Prepare and deliver weekly sermons
• Attend weekly coaching and logistical oversight meetings
• Disciple and train church leaders and members
• Oversee operational items within the church
• Participate in off-boarding process into full church independence
Requirements
• Dynamic and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Bachelor's degree in theology or biblical studies preferred, or a bachelor's degree with a focus on ministry and theological training
• 2+ years of ministry work experience; community non-profit, sales or customer service experience is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills; both written and verbal
• Time management and problem skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Must be innovative and strategic
• Ability to work independently and accomplish tasks with limited resources
• Able to adapt and change based on the needs of the church
