About the Role The Essity Global Distribution and Transport team is currently seeking a Transportation Planner located in our Service Excellence Center in Neenah, WI. The purpose of the role is to create an optimal transportation plan with best in class customer service levels for Essity customers and suppliers while considering existing business and legal rules and minimizing costs. What You Will Do * Plan and schedule transportation of Essity deliveries and supplier PO's according to business and geographical rules for one or more Essity production sites; * Communicate with carriers, Essity customer service, and Essity supply services during the planning process including participation in daily operations meetings with Essity site(s); * Ensure master data integration in TMS; * Manage any unrouteable issues during the transportation optimization process within the timelines expected; * Proactively advise improvements on transport planning scope, i.e. exclusion of lanes, simulation of new scenarios and carrier performance to Essity Distribution Management; Who You Are * Bachelors Degree or equivalent Transportation/Logistics experience preferred; * Minimum two years in administrative role in transportation, operations, or customer service environment; * Computer proficiency is essential - intermediate skills in Word and Excel are required.
