The Role

The Planner is assigned a commodity for which they are responsible for the development and implementation of production and manufacturing schedules, to meet customer requirements and to maintain proper inventory levels. This will require constant interface with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Sales Departments. Based on already existing purchase contracts, the Planner will issue Purchase Orders for materials and supplies. The Planner will select the qualified supplier for each type of material required. The Planner is responsible and accountable for the performance of the suppliers of assigned commodities and the cost of purchased materials for the product line under their area of responsibility.
This position will oversee the coordination and management of the day to day business activities between Aerospace Sealing Solutions' customer service and the customer.

WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL FILLED Under the administrative direction of the Executive Director of Planning and Zoning, this position is responsible for all transportation planning needs and issues for Luzerne County. The Transportation Planner will coordinate all efforts with Pennsylvania's Department of Transportation and the Lackawanna-Luzerne Transportation Study. The Transportation Planner reports directly to the Executive Director of Planning and Zoning.
* Manage the Transportation Assets Management Program, including bridges between eight (8) to twenty (20) feet in length, bridges less than eight (8) feet in length, traffic and road signs inventory, and other assets as directed by PennDOT.
* Assist with various transportation planning projects.
* Assist with administration of the Lackawanna-Luzerne Transportation Study.
* Assist with preparation of other plans and programs as needed, such as the Public Participation Plan, Limited English Proficiency Plan and Title IV/Environmental Justice Plan.
