General Description:
The Turnaround Planner, Mechanical reports to the Shutdown Turnaround Outage (STO) Director and is responsible for the effective planning of Preventive and Corrective Mechanical STO work at Venture Global Plaquemines Liquefied Natural Gas (PLNG) facility. This position is responsible for working with other Turnaround Contractors, Operations, Maintenance (Planning and Execution), Engineering, Warranty, Project Departments among others.
Responsibilities:
Build plans and assist with scheduling of maintenance work according to Venture Global HSSE process and procedures. Plans tasks that prevent or mitigate exposures to unsafe maintenance work conditions.
Build plans and assist with scheduling of maintenance work according to VGIMS (Venture Global Integrity Management System), PLNG Maintenance Manual and Work Management process and procedures.
Capture direct/indirect cost in a work order approval process to effectively monitor and control maintenance budget expenditure. Produce cost estimates as required.

Confirm that the Safety Department can determine all site-specific requirements to be posted on the JIB, including but not limited to PPE, badging, specific drug screens, specific backgrounds, and site-specific training.
Support Operations concerning scheduling manpower, vehicles, and equipment per project.
Direct and support Equipment managers concerning scheduling and confirming the availability of functioning equipment, vehicles, and trailers.
Communicate with Manufacturing concerning project requirements, availability, and level of urgency.
Meet with Field Leaders before mobilization to communicate all information regarding particular mobilization.
Attend the first day of projects to familiarize the crew with the site and expectations.
Manage Customer expectations as needed through the course of all projects.
