Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Process Management:
Identify, source, and purchase raw materials, components, supplies and tooling required for manufacturing.
Manage purchase orders and track order progress to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain accurate records of orders, vendor communications, and inventory levels.
Ensure that all purchases are compliant with company policies and budgetary constraints.
Supplier Relationship Management:
Develop, maintain, and enhance strong relationships with existing strategic suppliers while identifying new suppliers to meet evolving business needs.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost-effective purchasing agreements that are aligned with company strategic plans.
Monitor supplier performance, addressing issues such as late deliveries or quality discrepancies.
Inventory and Stock Management:
Coordinate with inventory control to maintain optimal levels of raw materials, supplies, and finished goods.
Monitor stock levels and place timely replenishment orders to avoid production delays.
Track and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Cost Analysis and Budgeting:
Analyze purchasing trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings.
Create procurement strategies to review with the Leadership Team.
Assist in preparing annual procurement budgets, ensuring purchases stay within allocated financial resources.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with the production, engineering, and logistics teams to forecast material needs and ensure the availability of critical supplies.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure production schedules are met without disruption.
Documentation and Reporting:
Ensure that all purchasing activities are documented accurately and timely.
Analyze purchase history and data to provide insights to management regarding supplier performance, cost-saving initiatives, and material usage trends.
Qualifications:
· Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience will be considered as an alternative.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, CPSM) are a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of supply chain management and procurement best practices.
Skills:
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) is required. Epicor experience would be a plus.

Position Summary:
The Department of Conservation and Recreation seeks qualified applicants for the position of Long-Term Seasonal Regional Planner II to enable the Design & Project Management (D&PM) Architecture Section to conduct research, planning and project management to advance DCR's state-wide facility assessment projects.
To meet the requirements of Executive Order 594, DCR will undertake a state-wide assessment of its maintenance facilities. Goals of the project will be to address health and safety of our staff with code compliance, make maintenance work efficient and cost-effective with adequate equipment and storage and importantly, install the mechanical systems to make these facilities net zero, including PV systems, air source heat pumps, battery storage and charging stations for electric vehicles and landscaping equipment. The Regional Planner II will do the critical work of researching archives for plans and documents, developing an inventory of maintenance facility and storage locations, and with both AMMP and field observation, assess the condition of the buildings and structures, including their mechanical systems, envelopes, structural condition and cultural resource value.
The RP II will complete an in-house analysis and create reports for all five DCR regions state-wide. This information will be synthesized into an RFP scope for a consultant to complete an in-depth analysis and create a strategic plan for facilities by region. The RP II will act as project manager for this effort.
The RP II will work on high priority energy and climate related projects including all aspects of project management. This involves developing a scope of work, writing RFPs, solicitation, proposal review, contracting, invoice payments, oversee consultant work and coordinate with appropriate DCR offices.
Duties:
Complete all phases of project management from developing scopes for studies and assessments to taking projects through to construction.
Work with Office of Cultural Resources to locate record plans and archives
Document cultural resource value of older structures
Coordinate inventory with DCR's Asset Management Modernization Program (AMMP)
Coordinate locations with DCR's GIS program
Conduct field observation trips to interview Operations staff and photograph and document existing conditions
Qualitative, quantitative and spatial data analysis
Data visualization and reporting including but not limited to web dashboards, written documents and presentations.

Position Summary:
MassDOT and other state agencies have been presented with many new opportunities to obtain funding for transformative infrastructure projects. This is an exciting time for MassDOT and the Commonwealth as it administers funding for high impact projects across the state. The Regional Transportation Planner will be instrumental in connecting funding opportunities with local and regional needs, developing grant applications, communicating between MassDOT departments and other state or federal agencies, and organizing grant-related information. All municipal facing work will be conducted with an emphasis on supporting rural and environmental justice (EJ) communities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The selected applicant will be assigned to the Municipal Grants Engagement section of the Office of Transportation Planning and will manage several federal programs as well as liaise with MassDOT's regional partners. Specific duties include the following\:
Develop and implement procedures and guidelines to accomplish regional planning objectives, ensuring alignment with agency goals, funding priorities, and regulatory requirements.
Oversee Transportation Planners by assigning work, reviewing performance, and recommending process improvements to the Manager of Municipal Grants.
Supervise the execution of regional plans and technical assistance programs, assisting municipalities in developing project designs and grant applications, with a focus on rural and environmental justice communities.
Review and recommend changes in operations, policies, and procedures in response to evolving program objectives, regulations, and funding trends.

The Central Transportation Planning Staff of the Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) seeks a transportation/environmental planner or public health professional with a planning background to lead the MPO's environmental program areas. The selected candidate will work across the agency to advance the MPO's environmental goals and to encourage infrastructure investments that mitigate risks for the transportation system and safeguard communities in the region.
