The Global Assortment Planner is responsible for optimizing brand assortment and inventory for maximum profitability, to bolster brand initiatives, and to support both direct and indirect global businesses.
What you will do in this role:
Partner with global merchants and brand leadership to build buys for seasonal newness by channel and region.
Partner with brand leadership and merchandising teams to conduct business reviews highlighting current business trends and opportunities. Help identify and support actions on common risks and opportunities for improving sales and margin and increasing inventory efficiency through assortment management.
Create and maintain reporting with common KPIs to help analyze the business and make decisions on optimizing assortment (product life-cycle, SKU count rationalization/SKU productivity, etc.) in order to meet sales and margin goals, supporting both brand and commercial objectives.
This position works closely with global and commercial merchants, parallel planning pillars, marketing, supply chain management, and leadership across all of these functional groups.
The Global Assortment planner must have a strong analytical skill set. Experience with brand strategy building a plus.
