Position Purpose: The purpose of this position is to perform complex administrative and professional work in administering the Towns Local Historic District and Demolition Delay bylaws to identify, preserve, and protect the cultural resources of the town; performs all other related work.

Title: Global Category Planner (Co-op)
This position is a critical role on a transformational Global Category Planning team focused on delivering an accurate forecast for SharkNinja globally, highlighting both risks and opportunities (R&O) through analytics and insights. Key partners include the broader Commercial Planning team as well as global cross functional partners across Strategic Sales & Analytics (SS&A), Marketing, Sales, and Product Development. This role will be charged with owning their category, understanding the global retail dynamics, and providing actionable insights and recommendations from internal POS data, market data and category trends to drive and optimize SharkNinja growth. Core Responsibilities
Trend Tracking & Smoke Spotting (~40% of time)
Up to date understanding of performance in your assigned subcats by country, with click-down to retailer level where applicable
Flagging missed attainment (+/-) and category trends changes (+/-) to model R&O for retail team and supply (weekly)
Understanding of competitor dynamics and impacts to SN business
Category POS Pressure Testing (~40% of time)
Monthly Generation of high-level market share projections and probable R&O based on projections
Quantification of impact to forecast of: YoY incremental/non-comped promos, placement and/or media
Compilation of monthly R&O by subcategory / country to meet w/ Retail Planning teams for monthly PT Roundtable
Tie back of POS to Ships trends to balance forecast
NPD Sizing (~20% of time)
Generation of high/medium/low scenarios for NPD launches by country
Quantification of targets for retail based on share (either market or SN)
Connecting w/ Supply on capacity / in-bounds to pivot forecast where needed

Typical Duties
This is a research, writing, facilitation intensive position in which the Assistant/Associate Planner will create, seek out data, create visual tools, maps, and planning documents, with the possibility of work on zoning bylaws, and grant applications. Additionally, this position requires the ability to compile and analyze a wide variety of data, to communicate in writing, in person and in public settings and to facilitate and coordinate public outreach activities.
Specific duties will include:
Contributing to the development of a wide variety of planning initiatives and regional and municipal support activities. This will likely include participation in climate resiliency initiatives, energy efficiency initiatives, hazard mitigation planning, open space and recreation planning and trail mapping.
Work with municipalities to seek resources for energy saving efforts including their participation in the Green Communities Initiative
Contribution to community development, housing, and economic development plans including contextual data collection, research, analysis, community engagement, meeting facilitation, and goal, objective and action strategy articulation.
Contributing to data services and GIS services.
Resource development related to topical efforts to benefit the region and its communities.

Qualifications
Master's degree in community and/or urban planning, public policy, public administration, environmental science, natural resource management, or similar with some relevant work experience is preferred, Associate candidates should have the education listed above plus 2 years of relevant work experience.. Starting salary will range from $45,936 to $50,500.00 for Assistant Planner and $52,000 - $56,000.00 for the Associate Planner depending on qualifications and experience.
