This position will play a vital role in supporting Wealth Advisors (WAs) by providing administrative, financial, technical, and organizational services.
This position will report to the Wealth Advisor.
Responsibilities
Increasing level of financial planning and investment knowledge through practice and advancing responsibility of planning teams and Wealth Advisors
Completes financial plans, investment reports, tax and estate analysis as requested
Vast majority of time is spent preparing for and in client meetings documenting task items and coordinating client service execution under the Associate Wealth Advisors and/or Wealth Advisor
Data and information gathering
Brings forth observations to Lead Advisors regarding clients
Limited oversight on simple projects and plans
Observing and learning complex planning
Attends networking events and begins to build relationships in the community and with COI peers
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree
CFP certification required
Minimum of 2-3 years' experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Qualifications:

Qualifications
Experience: Six years of professional planning experience; a master's degree in planning or a related field plus four years of experience may be substituted.
Certification: AICP Certification is preferred.
Professional Involvement: Active membership in a professional practice organization.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of planning principles and practices, including funding mechanisms, with expertise in at least one planning discipline (e.g., transportation planning or land use planning/zoning).
Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong client relations, and advanced organizational abilities.

We are seeking a motivated Transportation Planner or Engineer to join our growing team in Raleigh, NC. How will you contribute to the team?
As an integral member of the Central Atlantic Transportation Planning Group, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing transportation plans that prioritize roadways, bicycle, pedestrian, and multimodal systems, ensuring alignment with regional and statewide mobility goals. Your responsibilities will include conducting research, data collection, and analysis related to transportation demand, traffic flow, and mobility patterns using tools such as travel demand modeling and GIS.
You will prepare reports, forecasts, and technical documents to support transportation studies and guide project decision-making. Collaborating with government agencies, communities, and private sector clients, you will work to ensure project outcomes address the needs of diverse populations. Your role will also involve participating in public outreach activities, including attending meetings, workshops, and events, to gather input and effectively communicate project plans.
Additionally, you will analyze traffic operations, congestion management strategies, and safety improvement measures, providing practical recommendations to enhance the efficiency and safety of transportation networks. In this position, you will collaborate with environmental specialists, urban planners, and other professionals to integrate transportation systems with broader land use and environmental planning objectives.
What will you contribute?
* Bachelor's degree in Transportation Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
* 5 years of experience in transportation planning or a related field preferred or four years since Master's
* Proficiency in transportation planning software and tools, such as VISSIM, VISSUM, TransModeler, and Synchro.
* Knowledge of transportation regulations and policies.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* AICP certification or PE license is desired
