Greet & welcome customers entering the store.

TEMPERAMENTS

STANDING
Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
Walking surfaces include ceramic tile, concrete, or linoleum in some food process areas.

WALKING
Walking is frequently required for short distances and short durations.
Personnel must travel between the store and customer vehicles.
Delivery personnel must travel between delivery vehicles/e-bikes and from the delivery vehicle/e-bike to the customer's location.
SITTING
Paperwork is normally completed while sitting.
Driving to and from deliveries or meetings requires sitting.
LIFTING
Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by the team members on duty during the deliveries.
Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions of up to 3' x 1.5'.
Cases are usually lifted from the floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.
CARRYING

Items such as cases of pizza sauce, weighing 30 pounds, may occasionally need to be carried from the storage area to the prep area, and from the prep area to the front of the store.

PUSHING/PULLING
This may be required to move trays or products placed on dollies, or to move empty trays or trash cans.
A stack of trays on a dolly is approximately 24" - 30" and requires a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push.
CLIMBING
Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change air fresheners, clean walls, or perform maintenance.

BENDING/CROUCHING/SQUATTING

Breakfast Cook/Baker: North Slope Remote Camp
Remote Pizza Maker Job
The Baker/Breakfast Cook is responsible for producing baked goods and preparing the breakfast meal at the assigned remote camp on the North Slope of Alaska. Supervises kitchen staff, participates in ordering bakery and food items, monitors inventory, and ensures services are provided within established budgetary guidelines. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 2 or more years of experience in quantity (from scratch) baking and food production
* Current ServSafe certification

Grand Canyon Resort Corporation (GCRC) is wholly-owned by the Hualapai Tribe and is located in Peach Springs, Arizona. Job Description
WHAT'S THE JOB?
The Sandwich Maker is an integral member of the Culinary team. Working both day and night shifts, the Sandwich Maker prepares a wide variety of sandwich and specialty items to fulfill the bagged lunch program. The Sandwich Maker will work with Culinary leads to present attractive and well-prepared products each day.
The position involves a remote work lifestyle in a camp setting with the following amenities:
* All meals and accommodations are provided
* Travel is provided to and from the site locations from designated locations in the Winnipeg, Red Lake and surrounding area
* Private room with cable television
* Access to Wi-Fi
* Access to laundry facilities and detergents
* Access to a gym and common areas
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing all sandwiches according to standard recipes and menus including specialty sandwiches and compounds (i.e.: egg salad, tuna, etc.)
* Properly rotate food products in order to keep spoilage and waste to a minimum
* Monitoring and coordinating the day to day set ups of sandwiches
* Maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace while complying with statutory and company hygiene requirements including floors, counters, shelves, fixtures, fittings, fridges and walls
* Visually inspecting appearance of all cold food for proper color combination and overall presentation to maintain appeal
* Properly rotate food products in order to keep spoilage and waste to a minimum
* Maintaining sufficient inventory levels of all sandwich varieties
Qualifications

Work schedule and remuneration:
Sandwich Makers work on a rotational schedule of 2 weeks on/2 weeks off. Site locations are in remote settings, requiring either air travel to site, or via ground on our shuttle. Remote Pizza Maker Job
The Baker/Breakfast Cook is responsible for producing baked goods and preparing the breakfast meal at the assigned remote camp on the North Slope of Alaska. Supervises kitchen staff, participates in ordering bakery and food items, monitors inventory, and ensures services are provided within established budgetary guidelines. Ensures adherence to the DUS HSE and Quality Assurance programs, HACCP, FDA food safety regulations, and ServSafe procedures.
This position will be working a rotational schedule (3 weeks on/3 weeks off or 2/2) and 12-hour shifts at a remote camp in Alaska. Flights to/from Anchorage and to the job site will be paid by the company. Covered meals and lodging at the job site. Point of hire: Anchorage, AK.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
2 or more years of experience in quantity (from scratch) baking and food production
Current ServSafe certification
Able to proficiently speak, read, understand and write English
High level of customer service

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

* Must have an Alaska Food Workers Card and/or ServSafe Certification or obtain upon hire.

The Maker-in-Residence program seeks motivated undergraduate students interested in 3D printing and rapid prototyping for peer to peer consulting in the Maker Commons at the Pattee Library. Operated by Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT), the Maker Commons provides access to and training for students, faculty, and staff using 3D printers, introductory 3D modeling, 3D scanning, as well as rapid prototyping using little Bits, Arduino, Robotics, Cricut Maker, Sewing, E-textiles, and Dye Sublimation. Successful Makers-in-Residence will harvest and maintain 3D printers, provide 1-on-1 consultations for students learning to use 3D printers, demonstrate creative uses of the technology, and act as ambassadors for the use of innovative new maker technologies in education.
Makers-in-Residence should be available to work 8 - 12 hours per week, maintain order and cleanliness in the printing room, reinforce Maker Commons policies and procedures, and have a strong interest in Maker Technologies. Experience with 3D printing is not required, training on technology is provided. Weekday, evening, and weekend availability may be available. FOOD SERVICE HANDLER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparing various food items for residents following the instructions provided.
Appropriately packaging all food items for delivery.
Cleaning and disinfecting all food preparation tools, instruments, and equipment before and after each use.
Ensuring that all food surfaces, as well as refrigerators, ovens, freezers, and microwaves, are clean.
Promptly notifying the supervisor of any incidents or suspicions of food contamination.
Cleaning up all spills and leaks as and when they occur to avoid accidents.
Following proper food storage procedures to prevent spoilage.
Monitoring food supplies and informing the supervisor of low stock to ensure that the food preparation process isn't disrupted or delayed due to insufficient ingredients.
Preparing food rotation labels and labeling all food items accordingly.
Other: Must comply with agency requirements of strict client confidentiality; professional ethics and agency policies and procedures.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company is seeking candidates for the part-time position of Barista and Food Handler at Front Bar, Steppenwolf's café and bar connected to the main theater at 1700 N Halsted. Open throughout the day for use by the general community, Front Bar is a warm neighborhood hub serving coffee and espresso by Dark Matter, pastries provided by West Town Bakery and food made in-house. The menu features fresh, accessible fare, with breakfast pastries, salads and sandwiches for lunch and shareable small plates and desserts for evening and post-show service
This position reports to the Food and Beverage Director.
Hours of employment range from 9AM to 4PM daily, with peak times in the morning and supporting matinee performances on the weekend.
Areas of Responsibility:
Prepare and serve quality food and beverages in a friendly and efficient manner
Provide adaptive service that is cognizant of theater operations
Maintain their station for cleanliness and sanitation and ensure the quality of all beverages
Educate themselves and guests about coffee, tea and food offerings
Engage our patrons as courteous, professional representatives of our company
Assist patrons with disabilities (which includes developing a proficiency in accessibility etiquette)
Coordinate with the box office and other departments to streamline service
Monitor and maintain public spaces for safety, cleanliness and presentation
Serve as knowledgeable sources of information about the theatre and city
Successful candidates will:
Possess an Illinois Food Handlers Card
