Program Overview
PSA is one of the first regional airlines to launch its Cadet Program to help the most promising future pilots make a smooth transition from the classroom to the cockpit. The Cadet Program initiative is just one other way PSA Airlines offers the most comprehensive benefits to its pilots. * Your eligibility begins once you complete your Private Pilot Certificate.
* Successfully complete an interview with PSA to become a Cadet in the program.
* Cadets are offered numerous opportunities, including mentorship with airline industry experts and internships.
* Upon completion of your Senior Cadet Interview, you are eligible for tuition reimbursement paid to you as follows:
* $7,500 after the Senior Cadet Interview
* $7,500 at time building (when they are within 500 hours of ATP minimums)
* Total: $15,000
* ATP-CTP Course paid upon reaching ATP/R-ATP minimum flight experience requirements.
* PSA will pay for the ATP-CTP course (valued at $5,000) for qualified candidates needing to complete the ATP written exam prior to new hire training.
* Hotel accommodations and ground transportation during the ATP-CTP course will be provided.
* Get placed into the next available class at PSA upon reaching minimums, no additional interviewrequired.
* Flow-through to American Airlines with no additional interview, once completing requirements at PSA.
Interview ProcessInterview process is broken down into 3 sections:
* Section 1 - HR Interview - Cadet
* Section 2 - Technical Evaluation - Senior Cadet
* Section 3 - Cadet Instructor Check-in and Logbook review - Cadet Instructor
Qualifications
* Must have at least a private pilot certificate
* Must be a current flight student OR CFI, actively instructing
* No more than three check ride failures
* No accident or incident determined by the NTSB to be negligent on behalf of the pilot/aviator
* Ability to obtain a First-Class Medical
* Ability to obtain a Valid Passport
* Ability to obtain FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
* Must be able to meet the necessary hours and qualification under the ATP requirements or the restricted ATP requirements
* Cadets eligible for a R-ATP (1000 or 1250 hours), must have no more than 700 hours
* Cadets requiring ATP (1500 hours), must have no more than 1200 hours
* If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US
* Must be able to speak, read and write in English

MAAP is seeking qualified applicants with experience in flight operations disciplines relevant to uncrewed/autonomous systems to serve as a supporting pilot of uncrewed aerial system (UAS for Counter-UAS research and testing). The UAS Pilot Coordinator must be a self-motivated team player that can take on and effectively execute a broad set of tasks.
The position may receive tasking from the flight operations and engineering team leads and will report to the MAAP Chief of Flight Operations. The incumbent is expected to exercise sound decision-making and problem-solving skills while interacting with internal and external Test Site users and partners. The incumbent should be able to independently and effectively manage UAS field operations in diverse field environments. This position will be expected to lift, carry, move, load/unload equipment and field supplies of up to 25 pounds; possess a safe driving record to drive a government vehicle, ability to work outside in environmental conditions for up to 10 hours, as well as the ability to walk minimum 2 miles and traverse uneven terrain. This position also involves fine manipulation of UAS equipment and parts.
Additional duties that may be assigned to the incumbent (depending upon qualifications) include:

* Regular coordination with internal program managers, operations team, and external stakeholders.
50% Flight Operations Preparation and Execution
* Operates in various UAS crewmember roles including Pilot in Command (PIC), Visual Observer (VO), and Aviation Safety Officer (ASO) in the execution of field studies as dictated by the experiment.
* Provides input to aeronautical research test planning

* Inspects, sets up, and loads equipment for operational deployment and outreach events.

The City of Virginia Beach Police Department is the largest municipal law enforcement agency in Virginia, providing a safe community for our residents by delivering quality police services and enforcing laws with equity and impartiality. Our sworn Helicopter unit is seeking a highly qualified helicopter pilot to join the team.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Operate a police helicopter in support of patrol missions involving fleeing suspects, missing persons, and all scenarios supporting on ground patrol function
* Operate as a TFO when required. Understanding the mission equipment and demonstrating proficiency
* Adhere to all FAA regulations and directives regarding flight operations
* Ascertain operational assignments and conduct pre-flight inspection of the aircraft while on duty
* Monitor weather conditions prior to flying that may be hazardous and/or adversely impact flight operations
* Configure the aircraft for safe flight operation
* Conduct all flight operations in accordance with FAA regulations, Aircraft Flight Manual and Standard operating Procedures, and internal unit or department policies
* Maintain aircraft flight records along with documenting their own flight hours
* Assist with minor aircraft maintenance and hangar areas when necessary
* Performs these and other job duties requiring the skills, knowledge and physical requirements as demanded by those duties described or less. Individual assignments will be determined by the supervisor based on then current workloads and department needs.
* Understand and operate mission equipment when required; to include FLIR and Trakka.
* May receive ancillary tasking such as Unit Safety Officer, TFO Coordinator or other administrative tasks.

duties described or less. Individual assignments will be determined by the supervisor based on then
current workloads and department needs.
Hours:
Day or night shift depending on the units needs. Candidate will work 4 days a week for 10.5 hour days, including a half hour unpaid lunch.

A drone pilot is responsible for operating a drone and making sure it stays on course and landing it safely. Depending on the drone, there will be times that you will need to work a camera. Your main duties will include maintaining drones, planning flight paths, assembling maps, and gathering data, footage, and digital images. You will need to hold a Federal Aviation Administration Remote Pilot Certificate also known as the Part 107 license. Any other certificate applicable to drone pilots is a plus. About the Job
A drone pilot is responsible for operating a drone, which is sometimes called an unmanned aerial system (UAS). Drones are operated remotely, which is why drone pilots are also known as remote pilots. A drone pilot controls a drone, causing it to take off, stay on course, and land safely. Also, drone pilots conduct safety tests, oversee vehicle performance, and assess drone systems' capabilities. They may also operate cameras or other equipment the drone carries.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
Check drones before a flight to ensure safe and proper operation
Analyze weather forecasts to ensure safe flights
Document pre- and post-flight logs
Monitor drones during flight
Coordinate with stakeholders and airport personnel
Obtain required airspace waivers
Perform equipment testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Attend weekly training(s)
Import data to ArcGis and create base layer orthomosaics in addition to Part 77 data
Process data in Metashape to include stitching, cropping and uploading data to AWS
Perform daily airfield inspections at assigned airfield (Front Royal, VA or Lee's Summit, MO)

Job Summary
Responsible to ensure aircraft and weather conditions are airworthy to transport medical crew and patient to receiving hospital within an assigned operational area. Responsible for compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), General Operations Manual guidelines (GOM), and thorough knowledge of Air Methods policies and procedures.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Operates Air methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
Completes pre-flight before every flight verifying the aircraft is in an airworthy condition by sign off of Daily Flight Log. Pilots will perform a complete walk around of the aircraft prior to entering the cockpit for flight and upon completion of each flight.
Final authority with regard to operations of aircraft and for the safety of passengers, cargo and equipment.
Must be thoroughly familiar with all aircraft and medical systems of backup aircraft utilized at operational area and also ensures that the medical flight team is familiar and comfortable with the medical interior and systems.
Responsible for completion of required documentation.
Able to conduct detailed flight planning with little notice to exacting standards.
Participates regularly in Air Methods meetings, activities, projects, committees and community outreach.
Performs other duties as assigned.

50 hours total actual or hood instrument time in flight and in category (simulator time does not count) (for a RW candidate who is FW rated, 100 hours or greater of FW actual or hood Instrument time can reduce the RW required instrument time to 25 hours).

* Be familiar with destination, alternate airports, actual and forecasted meteorological conditions, fuel and oil requirements, navigation and radio aids, and applicable NOTAMs

* Fly accurately in relation to mission criteria
* Communicate effectively with base manager, customer, and system operations center.
