    Responsibilities The Spirit Wings & Spirit Direct Pilot Pathway programs allows pilots enrolled at one of our select flight school or university program partnerships a direct pathway to the flight deck as a First Officer with Spirit Airlines. This role reports directly to the SVP, Flight Operations / DO and is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient flight operations. The Chief Pilot will oversee pilot training, operational policies, and regulatory compliance while maintaining strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Miami-remote work is not available. Key Responsibilities Ensure flight operations comply with all applicable FAA regulations and company policies. Oversee pilot hiring, training, and standardization of flight procedures. Serve as a primary liaison with regulatory agencies, including the FAA. Responsibilities The Spirit Wings & Spirit Direct Pilot Pathway programs allows pilots enrolled at one of our select flight school or university program partnerships a direct pathway to the flight deck as a First Officer with Spirit Airlines. While in the program cadets will receive:

Once a new hire class date is available, cadets will go through pre-employment testing and background checks before being assigned a Spirit Airlines new hire pilot class date.
